Hello Mr. Tex. Hope you are recovered by the time you read this. I hope you and your team are well also. You and your team provide great entertainment and we are not worried about production dates. The excellent job all of you do makes up for it. Have you thought about doing a Pulp Style 40's mystery story (ttrpg, own creation, read from a hand written script)? Just curious, I was listening to a POD cast on Spotify and thought would be cool to see something like that. Well just a thought... Love y'all, keep up the great job You do you, We'll do us

Couple weeks late, but its "nice" to hear Delta hasn't changed much in the past several years. Hope you guys have as quick a recovery as possible. Having the Delta crud sucks on a lot of levels. Been slowly working through the MM episodes. The team's shenanigans are taking me back to the games my buddies and I ran in years gone by. In the same vein of "some things never change" its nice to hear another game that follows our old standby. Knees are heresy, and the shotgun is the blessed instrument of its purgation. That said, a question: what sort of homebrew hit location table were you working with? I don't remember hands or feet being individual places you could hit. And follow on, will the MM manual include some of the homebrew rules you cooked up, or is it a strictly in character piece of literature? Wishes of health for you and the crew, and as always a solid degree of respect to you and the team both for the quality of your shitposts, but also having the general decency to not crush your cohort with deadlines and tasking when there really isn't the need to. Art is so much better when made by people who care. Looking forward to Magistratum Mundanus Season Two: Heart of Derpness! ALSO as an afterthought/edit! The guy you were describing at the one event, who looked like he descended from the elemental plane of meat? I swear you were describing Mister Bombardini of /TG/ storytime fame straight out of his children eating V:tM adventures. Mayhaps he judges meats in his off time?

Hey Tex! Sorry to hear you've been sick but glad to hear you're starting to recover. Been loving Magistratum Mundanus! Looking forward to more! Also, game recommendation! Been playing Sailwind recently. Very chill, good for playing while, say, binging a podcast. At least until you encounter a storm with mountainous seas while your boat's overloaded.

I've really been loving listening to Magistratum Mundanus. I'm not normally into this type of role-play (or the other kind, for that matter) but so far it has been absolutely hilarious. The barely-controlled chaos of the team bullshitting their way into and back out of trouble... A guy with no sense of common good trying to explain what common good is to people who probably can't conceive of such a thing... Ricky basically being a gun-crazy version of Charlie Kelly... all of it. *Chef's kiss* If you don't mind, I'd love to hear about how you guys come up with your characters. Do you usually base them on existing characters from other media or make them up from scratch? The reason I ask is that I've recently started trying my hand at writing fiction, and I've found characters and dialogue the most difficult part to conceptualize. I used to attribute that to the simple fact that I'm socially awkward and not quite neurotypical. But seeing what you and the others have done demonstrates that isn't necessarily a barrier to character-work, so maybe getting a glimpse into your approach might help me develop that skill. I'll probably send this question in to the podcast pretty soon, as more voices on the matter the even better. But my voice kind of fucked up right now (also sick–go figure) so I just want to make sure I put the question out somewhere before I forget.

I wonder, if Delta were to survive into the age of jumpships and dropships, how bad would they be? I mean, would they be rusty, unsanitary, flying billboards, or would they skip the pretense and just have open-topped plague vats under the walkways that passengers must cross to get to their seats? Don't ask about the guardrails over said vats, they're for Gold Medallion members only.

ApokalypseCow

I bet if you fly Delta interstellar in the 41st millennium there's a coin slot on every seat that you have to keep feeding coins into to keep the gellar field working. Shuck out the coin or suffer the nurgle turtles ☠️

Hope you feel better soon. Looking forward to what’s coming but I’d be happy for it to be the way we start the new year. Get well, get rested, come out swinging when you’re ready. Learn from Hollywood’s current mistakes, Take Your Time and Finish your projects instead of rushing it out the door. Quality is important and quality Takes Time.

Rebel Rebel

I've never once had a bad trip on Delta, to be honest, but those flights were all 2019 and before, so perhaps they've slipped up since then. If the Jarnfolk ever did make 'mechs, what kind do you think they'd do? I had the thought that they'd make quads for popup ambushes, since those can get lower than a regular 'mech when they crouch (in fluff, not gameplay, obviously)

Hold muh coffee, watch this! Yeah, doesn't quite have the same ring to it. I once had three consecutive toons die in Traveller character creation. Good times. Gooood times. In your experience, what ttrpg is the most mechanically sound out of the box?

Korehammer

Hope you and the boys get well soon, Tex. Also extend my gratitude to them for all the effort they put into this shenaniganary. You know a good alternative to "hold my beer" could be "hold my coffee", I think it works well enough especially since I don't drink a lot of alcohol either (expect for the occasional dining out or party). Now for a couple of questions: 1. A Battletech question, oh my! How long do you think mechs such as the Rampage would last after their production facility's are destroyed? I was thinking of running one for my custom merc unit, Foehammer's Foehammers. Would it be reasonable/likely for such a mech to last until say the clan invasion or does it really matter and I can have a Rampage duck it out with a Mad Cat cause "haha cool"? 2. Another BT question, but for tanks. Has there ever been a battle in BT in which a group of tanks whipped the floor with a lance or two of mechs? If so, that would be neat cause tanks are cool. Also what is best BT tank? 3. Have you ever watched M.A.S.H.? Anyways stay safe, Hail Cargonia, and God bless!

Woot! Another update by the TEX and team..HI TRAIN!!! ::waves:: (and yes knowing all the episode names of star trek is just....weird...) Just finished listening to the latest podcast about the rings of power, lot of lore there that was interesting and some funny jokes about those damn KNIFE ears! Are there more than 10 Mundanus episodes? Because I want more..MOAR! NOW! Still looking forward to the Charger. You give your team a bunch of high fives (or elbow taps if you don't want hand to hand contact spreading the germs) from me, ya'll are doing a great job. Keep on keeping on Tex! I deeply appreciate what you and your team does. I give my money to worthy causes. And I..the WarRocket of WarRockets Ajax...deem you and your team worthy. HAWKMEN!!!! DIIIIIIVE!!!
