I keep forgetting to make a post on these to ask a question until I see the next one come out, so we'll see if you all ready recorded the next update or not. Either way I have a strange question. I have finally decided what unit to paint my IS mechs as. The Royal First Swiss Cavalry Regiment. I like underdogs and the unknown, and they held out in Geneva even longer than the Black Watch held, and that's pretty badass. Anyways, I can't find any info on their colors, so in your research have you seen any mention of their mechs paint jobs? If not I'm planning to just paint them up in a mech version of the modern day Papal Swiss Guard color/pattern. As always keep up and strong work, and remember to keep your stick on the ice.

I just want to say that I, and likely all of us, appreciate and love the work that you, Goat, Mike, Eldonius and the rest of the team do. You guys do go above and beyond with what you do, and it has certainly been brightening up this world of ours. We all are pulling for you to get better and hopefully enjoy the holidays, or at least the time beginning of the year. As an actual question, what mods do you use on your mech warrior 5?

A 3e and PF convergence? That's actually exactly what my group does although I'm going to doubt it does exactly what you'd want out of it. It took us probably about 2 years to slowly rewrite some classes, update spell lists (porting 3.x spells to some of the more interesting PF classes is a pain staking process), make QoL changes to some of the annoying and/or weaker class features, and a lot more, Worth it in the end now that we are nearing completion, but definitely worth doing if you had an entire Harem dedicated to ironing out the random issues that pop up.

This malaise of yours sounds like what some of the guys at work have. They're describing it in very similar terms and look wretched. Docs dont know whats wrong with them either. Stay safe, man. The first time I saw "Iden DeSeer" in the credits of a Tex Talks Battletech I very much had this little rush of happy delight knowing I had helped make it a reality. There's that little piece of being involved that just really tickles the psyche. As for questions, after seeing some of the dorf fort shenanigans, what's the most ridiculous thing you've had happen in dorffort in your time playing it? I have a handful and its hard to choose between the dragon slayer braining her victims with a hammer made of fish bones to the one armed dwarf who wielded three axes and cut trees with an axe made of wood. I love hearing the shenanigans people come up with!

"Nothing is useless, everything has a place" is a nice thing to hear. You can really feel that sentiment in the videos on the various Battlemechs. I've been worldbuilding a setting that involves a lot of military aspects and I've honestly found you guys' videos really helpful. That idea of good enough. I really like the idea of everything having a place. Even if that thing is very stupid. Hope the holidays see y'all well.

In regards to the weapons of Battletech, ilClan is moving towards a lot of the Succession Wars era and Renaissance Star League tech phasing out for Civil War and Clan level tech being the new standard with the justification being that much like the Washington Naval Treaty, a lot of old stuff was either scrapped or liquidated as a result of the post-Jihad disarmament campaign and relative lull in high-intensity conflict for the first time in decades.
