While I hate that it happened in the first place, man I'm glad to see things coming back together on the channel. Don't envy you the asspain involved, but respect for the fortitude to get back up and keeping up the good fight. Wish there was more we could do, but you've already walked us through why it isnt really possible to help actively in restoring the channel so I'll keep cheering from here. Unrelated, been catching up on the podcast and having some chuckles. Talking keyboards I got a laugh when you were talking shit about hunt 'n peck typists. I hunt and peck at a higher accurate WPM than my coworkers who actually use home row keys, but thats what years of muscle memory does I guess. Similarly hearing the talk about Digs in the MM and his psyker shenanigans tracks. One of these days I should throw together a writeup of the unluckiest psyker I've ever DM'd for, I think you'd appreciate the one time I've had to retcon a TPK because, like you said, it was some dumb shit five minutes into the first session of the game that they triggered unbound daemonhost in a cargo ship in the warp on a rookie party....it was not going to end well at all. No questions this time around, just well wishes from the brave little aardvark. Best regards to the team!

2023-01-24 00:06:37 +0000 UTCI just received a package (took a while to get here) with Eldonius' fantastic Charger art as well as the picture of Delta Shift. It'll be getting a nice space of its own. Starting to run out of empty wall to put it all up on in though. Looking forward to what you'll come up with for Tex Talks History. Was wondering: will you be getting art made for it in a similar way as for TTBT? Hope they've by now found what's been messing you up since that Delta Flight.

2023-01-23 01:29:02 +0000 UTCGlad your doing better man, even if its only one day at a time the front moves ever forward as we move the flag a few more precious inches. I laughed when I heard you wishing them interesting lives... I hope its based on an old White box D&D chart rolled by Gygax(in a foul mood). My own favorite curse is the following; "I hope that their eggs for breakfast are spoiled, their coffee out, that they get stuck in traffic for an important meeting for an hour and a half with violent diarrhea." Pumped for the Traveler game and on a rather fun note... I am running a Pathfinder 1st ed game and I sorta put you into it as an NPC based off of a oft hand comment about wanting to be a simple dwarf blacksmith... he is a 'semi'(reads: only deals with issues that are local and annoy him) retired dwarven adventurer turned town blacksmith whom desires to merely make his tools, cool architectural ironwork and weapons in peace. Yeah he may deal with a beasty here and there on the sly for a barrel of ale or a cask of good whiskey... or a wheel of good cheddar but he has his hands full with work as he likes it. He gave the party/town the name Trudd Coalaxe, whether or not that is his name well... that is his business now ain't it. I will keep you updated if anything happens with him and I hope that brought a small smile to your face.

2023-01-22 22:04:13 +0000 UTCTo spice things up: Mister Tex, with the advent of AI-generated stuff, like images, texts, music and whatnot and disregarding judgement on the moral/ethical side of things, what are your thoughts on the historical significance of this event? In the light of the death of Guilds and early industrialisation. Are we having the honour to somehow relieve the events of the past centuries, because history be like that sometimes? Or is it something inherently different? Is it possible to put the Genie back in the bottle or is the only thing that affected people can do is to delay the inevitable for the next decade or so?

2023-01-22 19:14:34 +0000 UTCGlad to hear you are still fighting! Take it one day at a time. You wish to those who did this to have an interesting lifereminds me of a curse put on my player group of the same thing. There was a chart to roll on that something would happen every week. Might be they find a pile of gems one week, get attacked by trolls the next. The third week a monster would come looking to get their gems back. It was fun times. As I get to partake in some classic battletech this coming week do you ever get to play (whether classic or alpha strike)? 8k force looking at an Awesome, Warhammer, Wolverine, Vindicator and a Mercury. Hopefully your health is still going in the right direction and stay in the fight. Thank you for doing what you do.

2023-01-21 04:00:08 +0000 UTCre: taste and spray cheese Spray cheese has its place, that being alongside generic Ritz crackers, torn deli lunch meats, and a cheap bottle of overly-fruity wine in a "fancy" Periphery dinner spread. Would this fly in Van Zandt, or do they have a regional equivalent?

2023-01-20 23:07:16 +0000 UTCListened to the new episode on the road home last night. When the word "Eviscerator" was mentioned I began howling, laughing, and slapping my leg at how absurd things had gotten. Luckily I was in gridlock. Thank you, and Crow playing Ricky is a joy.
