So on the subject of the guy asking about patreon retention and the different things you "need" to keep people...so much of that just smacks of a bad idea. Hell, using patreon as a paywall for literally -anything- that isnt updates hosted on patreon itself is self sabotage. Once you buy in to whatever tier on patreon gets you access to that discord server or that file repository or whatever, from there unless the owner is very actively policing every member of said discord there's no reason to keep paying them money. You're in. Ending your patreon subscription doesnt kick you from the server. If anything it makes it more enticing to just pay the once and call it good. Perks like that don't get you retention. I would argue (though I have zero data to back this up) that respecting your audience and having good content gets you retention. Hence your 2 years ish vs this guy's expectation of a couple months tops. Also the way you described how you type really is how my brain thinks, thanks for the analogy of mice and meth. As for the psyker, apart from the retconned TPK there was the blood rain and mass possession in the administratum counting house, multiple hits of khornate bloodrage when it was least opportune....So many good times. Meanwhile, a query about the upcoming Tex Talks History: I remember you talking about a certain person you were wanting to do a while ago, but in all the recent updates I dont think you've mentioned names in a while. Is that still the plan or is the deep dive on a different subject? And is the lack of name drop intentional?

So Google abandoned "Don't Be Evil" 5-4-2018. Considering my experience with a very large well known tech company I find it very easy to believe that YouTube is having an extreme case of one hand does not know what the other is doing. Also firearm company question, would you say KelTec is the Canopus of the US fire arms industry?

On the topic of the history channel, some precious soul has uploaded most of the old "dogfights" episodes to the history channel's youtube intact and unmodified by reedits and such. Good on them.

I'm always willing to give projects like this my support because you have demonstrated that u care about the quality of the videos u make, and that's a pretty rare thing in this day and age of YouTube, sadly. And also, cuz I always like dumb stuff. Speaking of which, what's the absolute dumbest mech u could possibly come up with? And I'm not talking nuclear urbie dumb, no. We need to go further beyond. Hey Tex and the Gang! I recently saw on Brandon Herrerra's channel that he built a "Commie Tommy" (also St Petersburg Typewriter) using AK parts/design and chambered it in 7.62x25 Tokarev. He describes the design and manufacture a little bit. To my layperson eyes it looks amazing but with your love of the Thompson i don't know if you would like it or want to kill it with fire. Thoughts? Sorry that its been awhile since I last commented. Life has been mule kicking me with COVID, home septic issues, and an annoying head cold (among other joyful gifts). Nurgle has definitely blessed me and my wife! I'm so sorry about the channel hack and really admire how you guys are just rolling with it!
