History Soon!

We're in that good phase where we start polishing stuff.

Hunchback script is proceeding v. well

Black Knight Script is . . . in place, with some notes. Only 10 pages so far.

Further research being done, and deep into next history topic.

real life, eh, 5/10. I'll take that.

Work 12 hour days, worked for me... I actually have a 40th coming up and I still don't know how I wound up an adult.

A bang, groan, and then they better give me another bang...

While I am not Tex, I can give an answer. Maintain that young energy. Continue to make those dirty jokes, wield your humor to help and harm, and don't be afraid to be a little shit. Don't go quietly into that good night with a dry and dusty personality/humor. Go down with a bang, or a groan. Your choice.

Tex, I dunno if you've noticed or if I'm mistaken, but you have sounded happier lately, despite all the BS out there right now. Thought it might be nice to mention. A question: how does one not become 30? My 30th birthday is due this summer, and it frightens me. (this is a joke. mostly.)

Teyanis

Tex, you mentioned on a park stream that you have a 45 minute version of scatman. For science, I had to know what that sounds like and recreated it. Absolutely glorious. Terrifyingly haunting. I will use that in a soundscape at some point, for something. Slap some other effects on there and it gives you the chills.

I am really looking forward to your traveller game one of my al time favorite RPGs.

Ya'll are doing amazing, I look forward to the History Lesson.

I like Mike Guardia's youtube channel good for those old military history documentaries. He has wings of the red star and a bunch of other stuff.

Hah, yep, I hear ya FlyingTorpedoWhale. I've experienced the "laughing/smiling for no reason" thing at work too. There have been times after the closing hour when, as far as my co-workers could tell, I was just sweeping the floor, stopped in my tracks, and started laughing like a maniac for 10 full seconds. I distinctly remember one time when someone asked me what I was laughing at and, in a moment of inspiration, I looked straight at him and declared: "Nail Gun Nanny!" and continued on without giving any context whatsoever. On an unrelated note, Tex, are you familiar with the "Messerschmitt Komet?" The rocket-powered plane made of wood that melted Nazi pilots? I learned about it from the Lions Led By Donkeys podcast last year and I've been fascinated by it ever since. Something that utterly cursed seems like it would be more at home in some weird corner of BattleTech or 40k, and yet it actually existed. Anyway, I just thought it seemed like the kind of silly military paraphernalia you would appreciate.

God damnit YouTube. Good thing you mentioned hired steel bc YouTube saw fit to unsubscribe me from them....well at least my projection for this weekend is both Magistratum Mundanus and Hired Steel Ep 2&3 now

Sphintus_Koyote

Your content remains dank. Excellent work.

You mentioned Wings of the Luftwaffe. My favorite documentary series. Alex Scott is an incredible narrator. His voice made the series. It's great to hear the excitement in your voice about TTH. Thanks to you and the BPL as always.

Hey Tex, love all your Battletech lore. Do you think one day we might get a vid on the Eridani Light Horse or Wolf's Dragoons? Keep doing the great stuff you and your team are doing. God bless you all. πŸ™

We like it when you go "too far" on Tex Talks Battletech. Between Magistratum Mundanus and Baldur's Gate on Courtesy Flush, Mike deserves all praise. Tex could literally write the book on Battletech food. Edit: Could tell you really loved doing the latest Hired Steel episode, even before the out takes

Damned Katherine Steiner-Davion is the reason the Clanners took Terra and she lived far longer than she deserved.
