Really enjoyed the latest podcast but was a little disappointed that my headcanon of Ross actually being Drachinifel didn't really hold water, lol. I work in maritime shipping (not an expert, just a salty sailor) and a friend and I talk about TEUs/FEUs being outfitted as mines and used to blockade a shipping port. Since water doesn't compress, it would only require commercial grade explosives and some sort of directing plate to crack a merchant hull. And a container ship traveling in a shipping lane dropping a bunch of TEUs over the side isn't too noticeable at night. In space, they would probably be packed with some sort of EMP or bomb-pumped laser. Going after the enemy's merchant fleet is always great fun! I hope the throat feels better soon! Best wishes!

Really enjoyed the Think Tank podcast, it's great listening to people excited about stuff they do... and it helps if they're a couple of (fellow) nerds. Also, entirely agreed on how on the podcast it was mentioned the Dutch Air Force used to be a lot better than it has been recently - at some point during the past decade we basically barely had enough F-16s operational to meet QRA demands, let alone agreed upon operations AND training due to worn out air frames and cannibalization of parts. It's sad, considering where we came from. You'd think we'd have some pride in something other than that VOC business-mentality.. (You sell it, we'll ship it) Anyway, take care; still hoping the docs can figure out how to help you out. Still enjoying the stuff you guys do, and thanks for taking the time out of your day to go through all of this :)
