Haha! That's a valid question! Cassady's leg/feet situation is a little different to the rest of him since it's constantly changing and shifting as he moves. It doesn't have to regrow in the same way as when he loses a "permanent" part, otherwise he'd need to heal every time he picked up his feet to step over an obstacle. So to answer your question, he can probably reclaim most of the rocks he left on the floor, and the rest will be replaced by his dietary cycle (which is why he eats rocks and gems).
