STATE OF THE LEGION M I D M A R C H

The "Star Track" podcast did not disappoint, looking forward to more.

Sorry to hear about your Coworker Tex, I hope you and your coworkers are doing ok. been enjoying your ST13, I wasn't into them at first but some time its nice to have on in the back ground then something Crazy happens and i need to rewind and catch up. So question sir, Van Zandt, you said it was scrubbed of the star charts out of spite, can we get some more details about this "fableld" place, its history , lore , and where it is located?

Which house were you attracted to the most and why is it The Lyran Commonwealth?

Dark Azial

Sorry to hear about your coworker Tex :( Can you guys please make more Steiner Scout Squad videos? I have watched them all at least 20 times and they never stop being hilarious

MetalEd

Death of someone you know is soul crushing. I have lost friends and I have had to be the person to show up on a doorstep in dress blues. Life does go on and it feels like you have a good core group around you to lift you up. The work of the BPL is one of the reasons I have come out of a dark time (and not COVID related). It has brought me to a new hobby and break out of my shell and I am building a new cadre of friends at my local game shop. You guys are great and I really like everywhere you go.

Maxx31

Battletech question: Are Inner Sphere mechs better at melee fights than clanners? Sure the Mad Cat and Masakari are bad ass, but the Awesome looks like it’d take them both in a bar room brawl. It’d make sense considering how fucked the IS was after nuke fight parts 1-4. Only played PC games, and didn’t even think of melee until I watched your Scrombles punch videos.

Question: Which house did you like or identify with the most and why is it Steiner?

Dark Azial

Tex I am sorry for your loss, and it sounds like the world has been closing around you a bit this week. I know I speak for myself, but your creating and being allowed to interact with your community through you has been a great experience. I check your channel every day for new content, and if I can't find anything new I generally find something I haven't watched yet. I know I am in for a good time and intriguing questions and conversations no matter what. Thank you for creating and sharing. You and the BPL have brought hours of joy and entertainment to me. I would love to see a redux of some of the older material as well. Not that I am wanting to heap work or expectations on you, you do what you want and it will be good. Question: Do you recommend people get a pistol as a home defense weapon over say a shotgun? Few scarier noises than the sound of a pump action in the dark.

Howdy Tex, do you think the powers that be will ever address what ended up happening to the Minnesota Tribe / Wolverine remnants after they left the Inner Sphere? Beyond canon rumors that is.

My condolences on the loss of your coworker, Tex. I hope you're able to take the time you need to process that properly. My question this week: are you a fan of the work of the Templin Institute, and if given the opportunity, would you be willing to collaborate with them on a video covering the Inner Sphere? I realize such a project would by necessity be shorter-form and less in-depth than you generally like for Tex Talks BattleTech.

Scott Jennings

What's the dumbest Inner Sphere mech in your opinion?

Daniel S

Will you ever do the community videos thing again I enjoyed watching the legion mess about.

Xinthar

Sorry about your friend, we had a guy up at work catch covid from his grandson, and he passed from it. Stay strong, we love Tex and the BPL! And youtube is full of shit, I hear people all over the BT community mention BPL videos.

Thank you Tex, opening yourself up is not easy. I’m sorry for your coworker and your heir family. I’m glad that you have the ability to take a personal day. I am also glad that you have such a group to support and rally with! YouTube videos you guys you have done are awesome!! I don’t believe people are doing any of the BPL better! Unique and raw is rare and very much appreciated! You are always noticed in my YouTube feed! Cause the first thing I look at is the BPL! You have been measured and found to be in abundance! Thank you all, and be well!

I keep thinking if I end up broke and homeless in Texas.. I'll have a place to make steam in a basement boiler lol

Walt_Man

May your coworker rest in peace and may you take joy in your memories and be thankful for the time together you were blessed with.

PPC's4Life!

First, my condolences for your loss, Tex. Second, in relation to Battletech, what are your thoughts about ammunition? For context, I'm of the opinion that, with the number of mechs out there multiplied by the various magazine-fed weapons, that ammo has to be supremely cheap, myself. Your thoughts?

PitViper

Keep the good work, hard you reading part of the Federation Charter on another channel, a nice surprise! Now important question... five seven, fine firearm or overpriced status symbol?

Larry McIver

Dude you're the greatest creator to ever be on YouTube! God bless and your community!

Timmeh!

I watched the Pizza Chimp episode the other night with my partner and I haven't seen her laugh that hard in a long time. Your work brings joy. Edit: thanks for introducing me to Mark Novak, I watched the recent rusty Mauser video and I subbed less than two minutes in.

Face Into Keyboard

Tex, I love you guys and truly appreciate the effort put into TTBT and your other offerings! I'd prefer that you not work yourself to death, but I do anxiously await the Marauder!! Seriously, take time to breathe and enjoy your family!!

Sorry to hear about your coworker and friend. Just wanted to mention that I like the idea of “re-mastering” some of the early Tex Talks!

BZArcher (Blind Zen Archer)

That's rough and I'm sorry to hear it.

Dopeskone

My condolences on your loss. I recently had a coworker unexpectedly pass as well. We had worked on the same project for the last few years and he was a real nice guy. It was a real shocker when I got the news.

John Benson

Sorry about your friend. I know life sometimes likes to kick us when we're down. Don't worry so much about youtube metrics and algorithms thinking your audience is losing interest. I literally can't go to a battletech, 40K or even generic scifi conversation without seeing references and memes from you and the legion. You are being heard. People care, man. The love you articulate for the IP, that drive you feel is reciprocated from your fans. In some way even the ATCHUALLYs and TOBE FAIRs. Your videos helped get me through a solid month of covid recovery and deep depression. That's worth something.

My own mistakes notwithstanding you and the BPL are some of the nicest, most honest, and approachable folks I've ever had the pleasure to meet. You've helped create an incredible community and thanks for all you've done. Take all the time you need to feel better my man.

Question about firearms competition, You mentioned being previously involved in 3-gun matches, what are your opinions on 2-gun 'Action-Challenge' matches, (like those featured on the InRangeTV channel)?

Molly McAllister

Sorry for your loss Tex. Take all the time you need were here for ya

My deepest condolences for your colleague.
