Good news on the Minnesota Tribe info front. While it has not been confirmed in-universe, according to the Minnesota Tribe Sarna article, Randall Bills, while he was Line Developer for Battletech, stated the Minnesota Tribe was remnants of Clan Wolverine. This was confirmed by his successor, Ray Arrastia. While this is not in-universe and could be changed, that would be unlikely as, frankly, it is a footnote and Clan Wolverine is the most likely explanation.

Youtube fuckery indeed. I check channels I follow almost daily as I rarely get notifications for any channel. BTW, this update is so long it's practically a podcast! Win-win. I would think your time could be better spent making new Tex talks instead of updating old ones - which are already great.

After looking at AFVs on Sarna I was wondering is this just a case of it being the 80s-90s and FASA couldn't be arsed to crack open a copy of Jane's Fighting Vehicles or is mounting weapons on a cupola pintle or coaxially Lostech? Tex, my friend, i lost my father to covid back in December. I understand more than most, how many "hoops" you have to go thru to get things done. My deepest sympathies for your loss.
