It made me laugh, most notably in regards to the Capellans, an I absolutely love the way you've narrated the lore. It made me think of documentaries of real historical events or the advancement in modern warfare history.

Hey Tex, newer watcher/subscriber so not sure if it has been asked or brought up before. Have you looked into possibly doing a MekHQ/MegaMek thing? I've been playing with it for several years and it is a lot of fun and about the only way I've been able to do a tabletop battletech game with friends for a long time. As well as being able to integrate it with a Time of War game at the same time. With the way you and your crew make videos and narrate stuff I think you guys could do a kick ass narrative MekHQ/MegaMek against the bot campaign

Dude I am right there with you. Why oh God why with Liao having the advantage not just fricking crush what's left of Davion? Marik has been playing with themselves since the Third Succession War.. so why would Liao now drop the hammer on what's left of Davion? Kurita is sitting on New Avalon and I am waiting for everyone in Kurita to wake up one morning about 100 IQ points less and discover old reruns of Friends while Davion kicks their ass back across the boarder with Julian Davion being the best Davion ever. The plot armor is out of control in the battletech universe. First is was The Kell Hounds, then it was Wolfs Dragoons.... Then it was Clan Wolf, now its about to switch back to House Davion surging back to victory over their "dreaded foes" bringing hope back to the Fed Suns.... BULLSHIT.

Question: I have been re-reading the House books lately after finding them in storage. Steiner was quite interesting. Was there a particular House leader that stands out to you for some reason? Second: Have you thought about a fundraiser for a new computer and the A/C fix? I would think many of us would consider this a channel and content enhancing area, I would think that the channel would too. We donate to make things easier, expecting nothing in return. Both of these things, in my own opinion would make things easier to help the channel and your life. You tend to want to help others, and we want to help you occasionally too. Think on it friend.

Tex! I am sorry to hear that your climate control has gone on strike, that is horrendous. May the repair be easy and the price inexpensive. The concept of Mad Max frankenmechs charging into melee is hilarious! I have now this picture in my head of something like a Quickdraw with a chainsaw attached to its arm kinda like that one guy in Fury Road. The idea of using the transporter as a weapon is hilarious as well. I'm not well versed in Star Trek, but it seems to me that one could use it in conjunction with whatever the device is that makes things on command in order to fill an enemy ship with bees or similar. In regards to purpose-built weapons, does it make more sense to you to have guns that are relatively small, but high rate of fire, or something that can knock holes in things better?

Rant incoming, relevant to a topic in the podcast. Just finished “Blood Will Tell”. I gotta say, for a long time now (ever since the late 90s), BT has reversed the trend that Steiner and Davion = good, Kurita = bad but sympathetic and strong, and Liao = bad and NOT sympathetic and weak and your revel in their destruction. Ever since Operation Guerrero, Liao always has to win. I hate it. Give me 4th Succession War 2.0 and let’s see the Fedrats put them down for good. Why do the Cappies get to win, EVER? The only purpose of an elite Liao unit like the Death Commandos should be to make them seem just skilled enough that their enemy’s victory over them is glorious. Instead, they give Danai some magical shield that can take infinite damage and she repeatedly defeats superior numbers fighting against her who are also using superior tactics. Her enemy gets the drop on her with a Gauss Rifle, the Gauss Rifle explodes. Liao is invincible. It’s annoying! Rant concluded, long live Clan Snek Cobra.
