A Text Update for Friday

This morning we are at 77.7k Subscribers. That's apparently lucky. I could use some luck but I'd rather share this luck with others at this turning point in history. It took me 4 years to reach 1,000 subscribers so I think you kind of get how much I do this for a magical number. Shitposting is life.

 Fera is precious to him. Fera needs a tumor removed. Want to help a doggo? Want to help a veteran help his doggo? Its a Good cause. Even if you just tip in a dollar and say "Hey, best of luck brother" I think it might help him through this really challenging time. It's not easy being an unemployed vet, so I think after all this last 20 years of mess we could at least try to help somebody out. We managed to get it to the goal, but considering how medical things can spiral cost-wise I think it'd be better if we did more. Because helping a dog is good, and helping somebody who is helped by the dog is better. A good deed for those wanting  to do a good!

Second thing: Mr Welch I'm sorry you're number two today but if I put you in front of a dog people would flip out and that's how it is. Mr Welch is a friend of mine, and some of you may know him alternatively from his big fat "Mr Welch's list of things you cant do in tabletop anymore" which has been a staple of tabletop nerd-dom since the dawn of the internet. If you haven't read Mr. Welch's list, do it. It will give you horrible ideas for tabletop. But Mr Welch also runs this amazing channel called Mr. welch's Mad Musings wherein he breaks down RPG systems both famous and . . . infamous.

The man has done 239 Episodes in particular on one setting of D&D, Mystara, which has been his nerd's life work to bring back into the mainstream. Single handedly, and with no real personal benefit other than "Goddamnit its the right thing to do", Mr Welch has been fighting at bringing Mystara (one of the great settings) back to the fold.  And when Wizards didn't listen? He wrote a book.  He wrote a book for Mystara. He hired the artists. He shaped it.   Years of work and thousands of dollars of Nerd Effort went into this.
