HOW IS THIS THE MIDDLE OF OCTOBER?

Comments

I will always take quality over quantity, Tex! You are an artist I am patronizing for the pure pleasure of your artistry, not employing to produce for my superficial amusement.

I appreciate the positive thought, effort, and feeling that the BPL puts out into the negative world. Being real people is hard thank you for the effort.

Damn Tex, that hit deep there for a minute. That was some wisdom. Dont worry about time, be happy and keep putting love for Battletech in there and take all the time you need. TTB is awrsome because it feels real, dont ever lose that.

Tbh seems like the Warhammer is coming out quickly. Excited for whenever you're ready to drop it into the world.

Question: For the Warhammer video, are ya also looking at the mechs that lead up to it (the BattleAxe and Hammerhands)? I've only just found out about them, and it's the first time seeing a sort of lineage of mech designs as opposed to a new design seemingly made from scratch, so I thought that was pretty cool. Take your time with this, all the best things take time!

Gardefan

Oh, cool! I was definitely thinking small scale fights.

Rick Jenkins

They are more viable on tabletop. Much more. While heavy have that greater firepower, they... Well 3025 Era, are rather slow. And while Lights are fast, they can only tickle with thier pew-pews. Mediums, can maneuver, get in and hit hard enough to cause damage, even to heavies. Think of them as cavalry, get in, behind the front line, and really cause chaos, then get out before the heavys corner them. It makes more sense on the grand strategy/tactic scale.

I know, I found it very amusing🤣. I'm pleased that someone rolled with the grind. Good day to you!

yeah, I'm just being silly. coffee is awesome and cheaper than meth. cheers

When it comes to Warhammer, take your time. There is a lot of information to get through. I prefer quality to quantity anyway

I choose to back you because I think you're a stand-up guy who uses influence to put good into the world. FUN STORY: I caught my 6-year-old singing "Knife Fight City" in the bath the other day, so I did the only logical thing, I added a shirt her size to my order. I can wait for the epic matching father-daughter pics, and the parent/teacher conference where I have to explain what Knife Fight City is. Thank you for what you do.

Lol! All I'm saying is there's no wrong way to get coffee in the system. Some are more pleasant than others.

dude, hot coffee down the lungs is extremely unpleasant feeling. but maybe you meant stuffing arsehole with coffee powder/beans? sure, we've all been there... whatever it takes to be caffeinated.

Good day mr. Tex! I really appreciate your side note re: emails; I thought mine ended up somewhere in spam folder, but decided not to ask about it, 'cause I value your time and energy and trying to be as tactful as possible. Really happy to see you trying to pace it. Please please send my regards to Mike, he's an amazing dude, his thoughts and his work is sincerely appreciated (as well as yours). It's not just a flattery and I wish I can elaborate on why, but rainy and hard-working week is hitting hard, leaving me without energy to write. Another time, perhaps. I hope this note will brighten your day a bit. Don't forget to take good care of yourself and rest properly - in my observations resting and self-respect calms and purify inner space and through inner space naturally comes greater creativity and more capacity to diligently carry on, FWIW. Just my $0.02. Have a great weekend. Cheers from Russia.

When it comes to coffee... Is there such a thing as 'the wrong hole'? Also, Frank Herbert Dune series is amazing. I read it all, way back in high school, and continue to dust off the cover and read it again.

Hi Tex. No worries on the wait for the Warhammer talk. You can't rush quality and I certainly don't expect people to wreck themselves on my, or anyone else's, behalf. As long as you, Mike and anyone else involved are finding time to look after yourselves, that's the main thing. Have a good weekend and take care.

"'Fan' is short for 'fanatic'" yup, a good line I first heard from TotalBiscuit. It did change my perspective on things. Also, as an ex-smoker here, that oral fixation is a pain to deal with. I wish you luck on that!

Question: I'm new to Battletech (and enjoying it immensely), but I don't get the point of medium 'mechs. They're slower than lights and pale in comparison to the armor and firepower of heavies and assaults. They just seem generally underwhelming. Granted, my entire frame of reference for 'mech combat is MW5, so maybe they're more viable on tabletop?

Rick Jenkins

QUESTION: Which nation-state do you think (headcanon or actual canon) has the wackiest non-war Mech activities? Mech street-racing in Concordat territory? Mech cooking competitions in Marik space? Mech skeet-shooting with the Suns, sponsored by Discount Dan? Kuritan flower arranging?

Daniel S

Your weekend update made me laugh till i choked!

Christopher Barnes

Hey Tex, Glad you're doing well with kicking the habit. Hope it'll go smoothly for the rest of the way. Still glad to hear you're taking care of yourself. Four words to consider: Urbie The Love Bug. Beep beep, *BLAM.*

BZArcher (Blind Zen Archer)

Also, are there rules for posting here that I missed? I tried to make a reply that included a link to the 3d design and some advice I had about overcoming oral fixations, but every time I make the comment It gets deleted.

Hope you are having a good day Tex. Someone made a 3d model of the rifleman 3 based off the art from your rifleman video. You can find it if you search "RIFLEMAN 3 PROTOTYPE" on cults 3d. The creator of the 3d model even made sure to include a link to the creator of the art in the models description. Thought you might find that cool

Hi Tex. Was a pack a day guy myself (with the occasional second pack here and there). I've been doing the same thing. Think I'm close to giving it up completely.

As man with a house to pay for and being single income family, I feel like my whole being is for sale is an hour at a time. The weight of this responsibility doesn't always feel good.

Dopeskone

QUESTION: Well, time is passing in the usual fashion, that might be the reason it’s the middle of October. Liner Time is a harlot, ain’t it? My question: Propane or Charcoal when you grill?

Yawg

Perfection takes time Tex! Even though I can't wait to see your Tex Talk on the Warhammer, I understand things like this takes time. I just hope that y'all do a killer 80's intro again like you did with the Marauder! ^.^

Diesel Jester

Hope you have a good rest of your day Tex!
