Hi Tex, I finally ended up getting a box of Battletech (The Clan Invasion box), and you're to blame. It's a great box and I love the models (I'm just picking out a colour scheme for them).

I just had a thought, and was wondering something. What is the chances that we might get a 'MR TEX recaps the history of BattleTech off the top of his head' like the D&D one Mr Wlech did? Nothing fancy or long, just a sparks notes outline of the history of the hobby, either in universe or as an IP.

2 Questions; Production wise, now that the render PC has been upgraded, do you see other areas where you could improve efficiency within the larger project timeline? Food wise, is leftover pulled pork better reheated or cold from the fridge?

I think space combat would be even more horrifying than that because of the distances involved. Unless you have inertialess propulsion you don't get merked instantly, you get merked five hours ago and you get to see it coming. (Imagine your battlecruiser is trying to engage when the escort you didn't notice 10-20 light-minutes out burps two tons of ball-bearings into a trajectory you can't Delta-V around and... *electro-monocle closes*, "We, Die." )

It sounds like it's gonna be a great time and I am proud to support its creation. 1. What are your thoughts, if any, on vertically-oriented starships? I tended to fly more Caldari boats than anything else back in the day, but them vertical rustbuckets were always a close second. 2. Do you have a favorite megastructure? IE, Dyson sphere, Penrose sphere, ringworld, etc. Personally, I enjoy Bishop rings.

Hey Tex! Thanks for the update, as well as the words of encouragement. My Wife has been prodding at me to start writing again, because it's good for my mental health. It turns out that she knows me better than I do. (Also, she's considerably smarter than I am) It's hard to make content and throw it out there to the world. You don't know how it will be received, and to an extent it doesn't really matter, since you're not making it for everyone, you're making it for you, to share with anyone interested. I'm rusty, but It's a great outlet.

You're doing good work Mr. Tex, you are directly involved with helping good causes when you didn't have to, you promote awareness for different charities and gofundmes that were towards helping real people with real needs. Giving the average person online the chance to be a part of something REAL and GOOD in their life that has the potential to help them see past the darkness and negativity in the world. I know I shitpost a lot on the BT discord and that sometimes things get heated, but at the end of the day, I think it is fair to say that a lot of us wouldn't be here supporting you, the cause, and the idea that helping out when we can and building this culture and community of people from all kinds and all sides to come together and knuckle down and actually help somebody with cancer, with a home, with putting food on the table, is just Awes Inspiring. I don't know of any other group like the BPL doing what the BPL is doing. And to think it all started with giant stompy robots. I have the utmost respect for you sir and your Team at the Black Pants Legion. I hope I didn't come off too sappy or cringy. In regards to Books, you ever checked out Destination Void by Frank Herbert? Its a good one highly recommend.

Listening to this update. I didn’t sign up for the Patreon for “Tex Talks Battletech” (though that is what drew me in). I subscribed for all the content the Legion produces (to include the podcast). I love getting suggestions to check out new things on Steam, or on YouTube, or other Patreons. I didn’t sign up for a Patreon that was specifically “TTB”. Question: thoughts on the potential reboots of Babylon 5 and Battlestar Gallactica?
