Reporting from the Subzero Alpha Strike Shootout in Wausau WI. Came in dead last in the tourney, no real surprise given I've never played it before. Had a marvelous time. Highlight was pulling a Death From Above with a near dead Viper against a Filthy Capellan's Battle Armor, who successfully pulled of an Anti-Mech attack against said Viper. Not that the Viper would have survived impact irregardless. Also, Fazoli's.

Oh the topic of not-BT, I thought I heard you say you liked Dynamix's Earthsiege games during one of the podcast episodes. Starsiege was really the first game I played online, and I met a good number of cool people through it, including one who, 23 years later, is still one of my best friends, despite us living on different continents. Did you play online, and/or get involved with the online communities/rivalries? I honestly kinda miss those days, the Internet seemed so much simpler then. Take care, the world is being a bit weird right now.
