Where we are at this current moment and some thoughts

I'm not overworked. The world is just dumb. Trust me.

Ignore the short attention span crowd, they won't stay long anyway.

You have now given me the worst possible mental image of someone answering a question "Surf & Turf"

This mission will be conducted as an "envelopment"

You worked.. .you dork. You need to be in Lebowski mode.

Tex, I swear you have to be a blast at Shadowrun/Cyberpunk games with the amount of "fuck the corpo" energy you channel. Said it before but will say it again, you do you. Long form, short form, idgaf frankly because my money as an investor is going to fun dumb shit exactly like its meant to. To hell with anybody else saying mean shit and sleazing off. Im curious to hear more about this mod video. You hit a chord with that subject. Its like how Pavonis Interactive are making themselves a 4x game after getting started with the long war mods for the firaxis Xcom reboot. Looking back at it, you're right, most of the games I enjoy are either A: small indie titles or B: modded to hell and back. So its going to be a video I'm very much looking forward to. Would you at all have interest in continuing your sessions of Wargame Red Dragon? Listening to you wax on about history and the weapons of yesteryear was fascinating and legit is what got me into the game in the first place. And as a final query for the week, is there any appetite for releasing some of the works cited for TTB? Ive seen others ask and I would also like to see where all of this comes from and read into the setting more.

When people say "long video too hard," what they really mean is its hard for them to follow and retain. Fortunately, for those of us with short attention spans (or limited time/energy), Tex Talks is conveniently divided into "sections" or chapters, each of which addresses a different aspect of the subject. So you can watch one chapter at a time and simply treat each full episode as a miniseries.

Hey love the update, I followed the "instructions" on the Maurader video and would like you to check your email. Probably lost in the in box with the millions of others. Done bitching.... I struggle with wanting to help more, personal demon, and was wondering how to do that. If I (or others), made content, small bits, how would we get them to you? Could you make a separate email or would that add to complications? I hear you when you talk, I'm just a bit awkward please be understanding. I don't warship you or anybody in the BPL although it may seem like it, it's more gratitude and respect.

Tex, you sound a lot more relaxed in this update than you have in awhile. Congratulations on the Warhammer! That brought me back to when my friends and I started playing in the late 80s/early 90s and the Warhammer was my go-to ride. Thank you so much for making being a fan of these big stompy machines even better!

I'm on the do Canopus side of the fence. Warts and all. People should realize that, while cat girls and mermaids sound cool, these people are almost certainly not in a voluntary employment relationship. I don't know if they were bred that way or surgically altered, either way Canopus is DARK. Probably the darkest of any House in the game. Just ask what happens to old mermaids and things get bad real quick. Full disclosure: My character in our current Mechwarrior 3rd Ed. game is from Canopus. My nickname for him is Bad Decisions.

First, screw the Mosin-Nagant. Get me a modern rifle with the K31's bolt. I love how it handles, but they're getting rarer and 7.5x55 Swiss isn't exactly the most common of rounds. Yeah, the stat card ad reading of the Sarna entry misses the point of what you're doing and, frankly, wouldn't be engaging. There is a pair of podcasts done by a group that does that for mechs and vehicles. Its great for helping me determine what I might want to run in a game of Alpha Strike, but is not what a Tex Talks has been or, in my opinion, should be. How the hell is Professor Tex going to rattle that off convincingly anyhow? "Ah yes, the Nova Cat Prime. A clan omni that runs slightly cooler than your average brazing oven. It has a movement of 8 inches, 7 armor, 8 structure and a damage array of 5-5-5. Yes, you in the back. You have a question?" "Ummmm, yeah. What the hell are you talking about? Why is a mech only moving 8 inches?"

Mr. Train is my favorite new part of the Patreon updates.

Most ridiculous looking mech? My vote goes to the Huron Warrior and its ridiculous headdress... which the Wyandot nation's people never wore, so it's also inaccurate.

ApokalypseCow

Alot of folks have asked this question in a variety of different ways so I'll try straight forward. YOU need a BPL website to be able to archive your very awesome work and because youtube is evil you need the plan B up and running. I second the Ak furniture even if we just send you our stock and get a van Zant milita brand, carving, or seal that would be fantastic.

SWARMING HOOK.

Tumblehome Actual

Hey Tex I know you're bloody busy right now but would you ever cover Infrantry tactics in the age of the battlemech?
