2024-08-07 04:02:28 +0000 UTCSave thy voice if you wish Asked the guys at catalyst if you were there each time I was over there. All of them said that they didn't know if you were there or not. Other news, I played in the invasion of huntress to kill the ilkahn of smoked Jaguar. We did, LRM 20s 3 Gauss Rifles, so many lasers and a kick from a highlander. Needless to say we wanted him and his point of elementals dead. We did end up killing him. Additionally I've decided to have traveller be the system for the future of my homebrewed world instead of 5e spelljammer. Thank ya for being you, keep on keeping on

2024-08-05 15:41:07 +0000 UTC[spare voice as desired] All the hype! Also I love that someone else asked about Dropfleet. Still holding out hope at finding a community to play that with. Not got much else to say beyond expressing that I'm stoked for the video and ready to spread the word when it's given. Thank you and the team again for the effort and passion you pour into these. I've never lacked for confidence that my money's going to good use, so despite your usual end of month reminder, please continue to accept my support. Looking forward to seeing you guys premier this thing!

2024-08-04 20:48:32 +0000 UTC-[No need to read aloud]- I kind of hope you don't release next weekend, the 10th, I'll be back home visiting family. Specifically my Grandma and the model railroad club my Grandpa was part of. I don't need you to tell me that family/meatspace comrades are more important, but it would be nice to catch the video live and all that.

2024-08-04 20:47:14 +0000 UTCI also have a GM notebook but it is black and is mainly for show so my players think i have my stuff together.

2024-08-03 17:06:47 +0000 UTCHey Tex. Want to thank you again for the Aux existing, I have Covid for the first time ever and it has made dealing with being near 0 energy more bearable. Besides that, I have only one thing to say this week.... Wingdings.

2024-08-02 19:57:08 +0000 UTCWhen I saw the title of "Video Relatively Soon" it made me think of "Soon (tm)" which I love that it has it's own wowwiki entry. Went down a bit of a rabbit hole and wow, nostalgia from a time that seems so long ago. (I played wow for a couple years in the late aughts.

2024-08-02 17:38:20 +0000 UTCI had these guys do several ELH patches for me that turned out great. Give them a look, they'll make pretty much anything to your specs. https://www.etsy.com/shop/FamilyAdventuresUS?ref=usf_2020

2024-08-01 23:36:38 +0000 UTCProbably a short answer, but occurred to me to ask just out of morbid curiosity- how bad do you think the IS would have been screwed if Amaris had been smart enough to have Kerensky offed as part of his coup? Not just behead the SL, but cut off its sword arm too.

2024-08-01 23:33:17 +0000 UTCI have used folks on Etsy in the past for custom patches, mainly for airsoft.

2024-08-01 13:01:45 +0000 UTCHey there, Tex! I see many comments here about saving your voice, so probably do that. Been greatly enjoying the Ultimate Admiral playthroughs, and the Arcanum streams have been great. I'm glad I can support again after a year and a half, and looking forward to the Twycross episode!

2024-07-31 22:22:44 +0000 UTCThank you Tex, this week has been Quiet and I’ll tell ya what happens with Grad School, I’ve painted a Word of Blake Quixote, the Lion’s Blade, to accompany my Demi Battalion, a Short Company of Mechs and Tanks inspired by the 5th US Cavalry Regiment, and a Retinue of Knights for a Bard Lord. Otherwise things are going well, going to generate another Battletech world in Lyran Space in celebration of Twycross, and on that note I’ll be sure to spread the news when the order comes. P.S. Still waiting on my kickstarter, but that seems fairly normal.

2024-07-31 22:20:52 +0000 UTCI've been rewatching the older TTBT films, and what strikes me the most of your more recent work vs the Amaris civil war era videos is your narration. You've gotten a ton more natural sounding as of late.

2024-07-31 20:49:07 +0000 UTCLove to hear the film is close! Missed last weeks posting here, no biggie! Adulting is overrated, that is why I like this place! I love seeing you and the Redacted Crew hanging out on Youtube again! When it's time I will post things on the moon to spread the word! Oh, Hey post a billboard on Mr. Train!!!!! Pistol6699!!!!!!!!!!

2024-07-31 19:06:42 +0000 UTCNo question this week, but just wanted to say that I'm really looking forward to watching the Tywcross movie on our big screen at home with my Battletech obsessed teenage sons.

2024-07-31 14:09:18 +0000 UTCReady for Twycross. Let’s do this thing. Also “Elegy of a long distance train man” was the perfect shitpost troll yet respectful and classy. Catchy tune. Here’s a thought that might blow your mind: imagine if you will that Mr Train’s conductor actually is a BPL follower and does it out of a love of shitposting at a minimum of 120 decibels backed up by 4500 horsepower in a 90,000 ton daisy chain of rolling steel moving at highway speeds. Who could ever say no to that?

2024-07-31 13:57:01 +0000 UTCHey Tex. Please feel free to save your voice. Excitement for the Tywcross movie is growing and I have already chosen a delicious beverage to enjoy while enjoying it, so cheers to that as well as a hope that you and your team also have yourselves a delicious beverage for all your excellent work. The advice on prep work for DMing made me smile when you spoke about the 3-ringed binders. While I type this nearby dominating a shelf of a bookcase are several rather thick 3-ringed binders filled with notes, session notes and house rules from campaigns long since passed into happy memory. Now for a question pertaining to Traveler, as your knowledge of it is greater than my own and I trust your insight on this matter. I am looking to see if there is a good source of Pirate/Space Piracy material as I want to run a game set in a sorta of Age of Piracy but in the Stars campaign within the Traveler engine. I have no issue making things whole cloth but frames of reference are always nice. As always thank you for you and your team's time and stay safe in this wild wacky world of ours.

2024-07-31 12:22:19 +0000 UTCHey Tex ! I think that if you finally make your move on Mr Train you should do it Lawrence of Arabia style with Vickers guns and Lee Enfields. Meanwhile I'm setting up my 3048 Battletech group to end up with the illegitimate daughter of Tsen Shang and a random courtesan in their care, but Romano Liao and Kali Liao are aware of her. Gonna be fun at some point when the players discover the truth about her.

2024-07-31 08:35:42 +0000 UTCHey bud. There's a *strong* sense of excitement for the video. I'm looking forward to it. More importantly, that you sound so excited and upbeat even after a long day of work during this update gave me grand joy. I'm glad for it. This week has been very, very good to me, and my time off getting closer by the day along with there having been three boxes of minis that arrived over a week early has made much less hate. Neat stuff that I can use to teach and grow a local community for classic BT, I'm quite happy for. I'm hoping dearly that it takes off. Also narrowed down what colour schemes my mechs are gonna be. Productive fortnight is goodly. Anyway. Take care, stay safe, and, as always, I'm proud as punch of you. You keep on keeping on mate.

2024-07-31 04:42:32 +0000 UTCIf I was going to GenCon, the Catalyst booth would be my first stop. For reasons. I may try the cake waffles, thank you. I do commit food crimes on occasion and that sounds more like a misdemeanor unless it's super messy or something. Have a great rest of your week- may your coffee be strong enough to foil your demons. (Or TPS reports, whichever is most troublesome).

2024-07-31 02:37:53 +0000 UTCPatreon has changed the order of replies. Used to be oldest first, now it's newest first. Waffle cakes, huh? Interesting. "Matt Baker" lol you basically mashed two Doctors together. Don't sweat it though, just amusing.

2024-07-31 02:15:25 +0000 UTCEvening Tex. Is a Mechwarrior RPG podcast similar to Magistratum in the near future possible? (With levels of seriousness to be decided.) It would be fun to guess what Mech's the BPL select. It would also be a great way to get Legionnaires who aren't as familiar with Battletech, into a 'trial by fire' RPG style. Could be a great mix of serious and goofy happenings? To those who need a laugh, i'm watching Takeshi's Castle/Most Extreme Challenge. Hope that helps. :)

2024-07-31 01:46:42 +0000 UTCGood evening Mr. Tex. Don't actually have a question. Looking forward to the film. And Magistratum Mundanus campaign book. Please let me know if you need any Beta testers for Tank Knights. Now that I know it's not just a joke, it sounds awesome and I want it in my life. I decided that it was a good idea to drive all the way to Alabama. I am now the proud owner of an M1 Garand. There are many like it, but that one is mine. When I talked about it at work, the resident gun nerd let me know that what holds the bullets and goes in the gun is called a magazine, not a clip. I have not laughed that hard in a good while. Thank you for all your hard work. And your brand of exhausted, stubborn optimism. Sometimes it's the only thing that reminds me to look for the light, when all I see around me is black as pitch. Thank you for all you do. Stay safe out there.

2024-07-31 01:33:21 +0000 UTCWas talking with my Mailman today and now I need to hijack Tex's platform and voice but I think you'll appriciate it: There is no shame in an honest living. There is NO shame in an honest living. There is no SHAME in an honest living. It doesn't matter if you're carrying letters, stocking shelves at Walmart, flipping burgers or selling feet pics on Only Fans. If it pays the bills and doesn't make the world a worse place, it's an honest living. There is no shame in that.

2024-07-31 00:34:31 +0000 UTCWell I do like to support what you and the team does so have this bundle of Canadian Tire Money. It's probably worth something. I'll just buy less whiskey and beer. Probably should do that anyways. Anyways soon as I have the youtube link to share, shared it will be.
