His past is simply too unbelievable no matter how much he claimed it was true unless he can use chakra to prove it they would never believe him and honestly telling the group about his past won’t accomplish anything. Telling shizuka is one thing since she is special to him and she would be the most likely to believe him because she puts her full trust in him and loves him. Besides it’s better if he only told Shizuka the truth while he made up some excuse about a genetic mutation that gave him a healing factor to the rest this would further highlight naruto and shizuka’s special bond and avoid forcing the group to believe something so outrageous as super powered ninja fighting gods for the sake of plot
