Have you ever wondered what mechs the Fellowship in Lord of the Rings would be? Such as Legolas as the Archer or Stalker. Gimli as an Urbanmech and so on. Thank you for the videos on Battletech. Not sure of this is the right place to ask but here goes. I am thinking of getting a rifle for the first time. I have a 45 revolver and a policemen’s 38 super revolver. But not sure what brand or caliber to get a rifle in for pleasure shooting (not much of a hunter). Was looking at a Remington lever action at my local gun store but not really sure about it. I know you are a gun aficionado so I’d like your input on your recommendations for a fun rifle for a first time rifle owner. Preferably wood stock not AR.

2024-10-30 18:39:04 +0000 UTCAfter picking my partner up from hospital, we decided to celebrate at what I am assuming is the finest Texas bbq establishment Western Sydney has to offer. With a menu offering Texas-style garlic bread, breaded shrimp, and calamari, how could we go wrong? Well, the Texan fries tasted like cardboard without the flavour, the Texan sausage, which I mistakenly assumed was links, was in fact a hotdog, and the brisket tasted like someone grabbed a pre-made corned beef, painted it with liquid smoke, and then tossed it in an oven, confused F and C, and then came back a few hours later and said, "She'll be right." The garlic bread was alright.

Just as a thought experiment (and with no intention of ever using it against another human being), I've been trying to think of the most sadistic army composition possible for the purpose of trying to make an opponent quit out of frustration. The units are simple: mobile long toms and LRM harassers. The evil part is that they all exclusively use FASCAM shells and inferno missiles respectively. The big guns make sure the enemy is always surrounded with fun little surprises while the harassers focus on shutting down specific units via induced overheating (while also being annoying little bastards zipping around the map as quick as they can). Any thoughts on how I could make this even worse?

I wonder about your thoughts on this tho, with all the footage coming out of Ukraine do you think the shoulder rifle is being displaced as the primary individual weapon by FPV drones? I have seen some squad makeups over there and I am shocked to often see more drone pilots than rifleman right up to the forward edge of battle area.
