What collective noun would you use for a lance of Hunchbacks? An Igor of Hunchbacks? A Slouch of Hunchbacks? A Belltower of Hunchbacks? An Osteoporosis of Hunchbacks? A Scoliosis of Hunchbacks? Please discuss.
2023-08-23 14:27:03 +0000 UTCIm so totally jonesing for the hunchback. If you ever need a soothing gravely Irishman to whisper nonsense in your ear give this guy some love. Very relaxing and ridiculous. Bobby Fingers https://youtube.com/@bobbyfingers

2023-08-22 18:22:08 +0000 UTCHi Tex, Glad to hear that one of the classics will be coming out. Definitely looking forward to the Hunchback in all of its levels of crazy. On a different topic, have you given any thought to the carnivore diet? I have heard some positive outcomes for people with similar struggles as you health-wise. Don't mean to be an internet doctor - stay as happy and healthy as you can. We're all pulling for you.

2023-08-22 00:02:55 +0000 UTCBy this time next week I’ll hopefully be in awe with your work on the Hunchback while you’re taking a well deserved break. Everyone needs firearm fidgeting time, so hope you can let “Tommy Boy” (yes I’ve named your Thompson) have a few gratuitous mag dumps and burn off the stress of the past several months. Can it take both stick & drum mags or is it the stick mag only version of the Thompson?

2023-08-21 19:49:37 +0000 UTCGlad to hear the hunchback’s on track. I’ve also started reading John Keegan’s “The First World War”. Any thoughts on it?

2023-08-21 00:02:29 +0000 UTCHeya Tex, hope things are going well - with the various things you guys are working on AND you all, hopefully. If the release date for the Hunchback video is still on for the 26th I'll be in Verdun (yes that one) but chances are the weather will be crap, so here's hoping the hotel WiFi is good. If not, I'll just be forced to use company mobile data while roaming to watch instead ;) I read theough the first of Asimov's Foundation books, and it's impressive how much GW seems to have been.. let's say 'inspired'.. for 40k, but also how much you see it in other genres. Half way through Snow Crash now, and kinda wishing it doesn't seem as much as a prediction as it does. Do people think these books are manuals? Hope to at least make it to the Hunchback live, and if no: take care and enjoy your well deserved break from things afterwards. (And don't let that nagging voice tell you otherwise)

2023-08-20 21:01:14 +0000 UTCSuggestion/Request: I'd be really interested in a podcast episode with the think-tank discussing how the international arms producers navigate different rival countries and their strategical considerations. Essentially; how do they sell to both sides and what are the limits of that tolerance. I'd also be interesting to how this corporate side works in battletech, and the different shapes it had along each era. Shameless question: Have been listening to the earlier episodes of the podcast and it struck me how some of the ideas and wants both you and Mike had for Star Trek were(somewhat) explored in Lower Decks. Have never heard any of the crew comment on it, but I may be just missing it. Perhaps it's simply not yall's style. If any of the later, please ignore this question. If not, I'd be interested in hearing if you think it is a constructive iteration on Star Trek, and why not. Looking forward to the Hunchback, but don't die making it.

2023-08-16 19:35:17 +0000 UTCIt's not a stream or a recording without Mr Train and friends. After industrial mechs (long story) the hunchback is my favorite mech hard hitting regardless of the model. I swear the anthem of my life and what I wnt played at my funeral is Sinatra's i did it my way, i think this is fitting for most of the Legion and Aux. Lastly in the words of Spock as he strode out of the Shire to destroy the Death Star "take care of yourself kid".

2023-08-16 16:45:09 +0000 UTCHey Tex, if you or anyone in the comments thread reading this have a good pitch to throw out along with the video link, that'd be appreciated? I'm only just meeting the Hunchback so I'm not sure how to put the appeal, especially to people who know less than I do. Also, hey, happy birthday. :D Hope your birthday gift is a relatively smooth video release.

2023-08-16 09:05:04 +0000 UTCJust a word of cautioun. Hunchback turnout might not be as much as we hope on the 26th. Armored Core 6 releases on the 25th and there's a crossover between giant stompy robot fans and AC fans. That being said, the people I know are waiting with bated breath, and so am I. Let the synthesizers reign once more.

2023-08-16 06:17:36 +0000 UTCGot to love it. On the one hand tradesmen are an dwindling field, on the other the companies turn around and do this to folks. Hope the bullshit gets sorted for you soon. And I'll see how much of a nuisance I can make of myself with bugging folks to turn in.

2023-08-16 05:09:13 +0000 UTCLooking forward to our favorite slugger. Even from my earliest days of Battletech, the Hunchback has always been one of those 'mechs you cringe at seeing. Granted, the standard model is simple...stay away and beat it into the ground BEFORE the AC20 gets into range to rip your 'mech to pieces. Of course, that's when you realize that is isn't the base model, and you've got some surprises ahead. Disco-inferno indeed. Light 'em up! Like everyone else, let me join the chorus in wishing you the happiest of birthdays, even if you just sit and relax...but that's not your style, right? One question...as with many others, love your part in Hired Steel. Do you know if they have given any idea of Episode 4's release? If I recall, Equis Leader has a LRM sandwich coming his way. Appreciate all that you and your team does, and happy to support such fine work.

2023-08-15 19:32:09 +0000 UTC"Heeeeeeey Brother." [Actual for-really-real country-music Intensifies] Not to sell you short or anything but, I hear you sayin' you don't wanna be seen as a guru, 'Tao of Tex' and all that, and I get it. Not saying you aren't wise, far from it, but we both know that it's a wisdom born more of experience than insight. The kind that the people who would need it most wouldn't internalize and make it useful until it's all already happened to them. Such is life. (and if they ever make a technology that lets us old farts get a do-over with all our worldly wisdom intact we gon' tar this mutha-luvah UUUUUH-P!)
