So first thing, the Hunchback has just unseated the Warhammer in my mind as y'alls best work. Outright blown away by the production, and the jokes just kept on coming. Two Saturday hours incredibly well spent! Beep boop, good sir. Bots together strong. I know you dont set out to lead or to be anything more than an average joe with the good fortune and stubbornness to be able to make things with his friends in these curious times. But an observation, if you will: You are a leader, and you are on a pedestal of your own making, it IS an incredibly uncomfortable thing, and that last part is why its something so many people respect so much. Im not a choir guy, I was in band in high school, so I'll put it in the terms of you've moved from just another clarinet to being first chair with a leading line in the harmony. And the fact that you arent seeking it and dont really want it for any reason other than to make sweet music with your buddies? My dude, that is one of the things that marks leadership potential apart from just being ego. Which is all really just a long winded way of saying: keep being true to you. The respect and adulation is earned and warranted, in no small part because you're just an overall good person. And if it offers a brief moment of satisfaction to keep pushing back the dark, I know I said this to you else where but thank you for what you do. I can now say I've actually completed my first video project, small as it was, and -accomplished- something for its own sake. Helping the lads make the hype video before the Hunchback launched was rewarding, and your call to spread the word inspired that. I was damn proud to be able to contribute. Additionally, my dude, if I win the big lottery, after my folks all get their piece to build their future and Ive got what I need set aside where I can live without worry the rest I'm gonna do my damn best to get rid of as quickly and ethically as possible. A renovation fund for Location: Redacted sounds like a decent cause to me. Hope you'll forgive my long winded word vomit of early morning consciousness. In parting, I want to add an addendum to the well wishes of so many who hope for many long years ahead for you and the team: I hope the years to come grant ever greater peace of mind. Keep swinging, Tex, and please do keep the praise flowing to the rest of the team, they've knocked this one out of the fukkin' park.

Rest, just rest and let the 'things you gotta do' be written on scrap paper. Oh, and the team should all treat themselves to something nice, nicer than skittles MRE! Ha,ha! Clanner cereal? Such a thing?

Absofuckinglutely amazing work Tex, Mike & Co as usual. Haven't had a chance to listen to this update but a heads up, Patreon are being dumb cunts again and are rejecting/declining payments for memberships using Paypal, a quick google seems this is mostly a non-US issue, likely again related to their dumbarsed relocation of payment processing without notifying any of their financial institutions. In spite of their moronocity I have finagled this broken system back into letting me throw pennies at you (the exchange rate ain't great so its closer to literal pennies than I'd like). Again, stellar work, let all involved know They Dun Gud.

Heya Tex, sorry for not chiming in earlier - you always put a lot of effort into keeping us up to date, and going through our comments and questions, so I feel it would be remiss of me to not show up and say thanks for once again doing a great job to you and the entire team.. REALLY enjoyed watching The Hunchback video; the animations get better each time. As someone mentioned last week, I also agree the pacing seemed better again too, the 2 hours just seemed to fly by. Also, thanks for the funny title - it's actually more accurate than you might think.. Considering the credits audio though, I think you might need to hire more people.. I'd recommend at least 3 safety officers in a daily rotation just to keep an eye on Tom. Also also: Immediately bookmarked the BPL website I hope you've been able to get a bit of rest so far. Magic 8-ball says 'Doubtful', but I'm still hoping. Take care.

Howdy Tex, I am excited for all the future projects, Clan Meth Weasel is Fun, happy they've grown so much, I need to ask them what they're Camo Specs are. Also, take care of yourself, and if it helps, remember, you have a crowd around who are insomnia addled, crazy, and fully willing to hang out and bear witness to whatever strange shit is done. We'll always be here, and due to WBPL-76 and the community connections between the AUX and BPL, we'll likely never leave. May many more winters and springs come and go. And may we all aspire to the theme of what you've established. Decency, and Damn Good Insane Fun.

Sir, the Hunchback did not live up to its hype. The Hunchback blew its hype out of the fuck-mothering water. 'Tis a thing of beauty for which you should all be damn proud. I've watched it twice with different people and expect to view it much more'n one mo' agin. You guys are the best thing on the tube.

I'm really excited that Bruins is going to be animating the mundanus. Tho I personally don't expect him to animate all of it, cus that'd be quite a lot of work. Tho I would *love* to see all of it animated, I'll be happy if it comes out as the best of moments, and judging by what was shown off in the hunchback intermission, he's already got one of my favorite moments. I'm genuinely excited to see how Bruins goes about it and I'll be happy either way.

The Hunchback movie was phenomenal. Incredible job with all the artworks and animations and as always, the narration was pure Tex, which we love.

Hey Tex. I hope you can find the rest you seek, even if briefly. My existence is richer for the madness and the memes provided by the BPL. Got my sister to listen to the first episode of Magistratum Mundanus. It helped that she’s played Rogue Trader with me in the past. She was amused. Don’t have much else I haven’t said in prior messages so again I wish you and yours joy of the day and the week.

Apropos of nothing, but the youtube algorithm does not always work against the BPL. Today It reccomended "Mr Welsh recaps D and D" to me. I didn't even realize it was a BPL video at first

Jay McIntyre

I don’t get to listen to these much, as work and family life are in the way. I know there’s a lot on y’all’s plate. Do we know what the schedule will be for the animated Magistratum? Your groups rpgs are a great joy to me (Star Track got my daughter and I through deep Covid) so the announcement of animated versions was very exciting.

Woten's Curse

The Hunchback Orthodoxy v Swayback explanation is probably my favorite single segment in all of the Tex Talks. Also, whoever did the art of the 4P playing a flying V guitar, I love them. I cannot explain why that piece made me so happy, but I was grinning through my second watching after seeing it again.

I don't know what that other commenter meant, Lower Decks has been a great breath of fresh air and gave us an amazing season finale in every season it has had.
