STREAM TONIGHT = YES

Yes, I'll stream tonight. Update is most thorough. I can share some of where we are with things, and my thoughts on stuff n' things.

I would second the fundraiser angle, akin to the KFC shirts

I don't know about Tex merch specifically, but I'd love some Van Zandt merch. Maybe some ad flyers for all their... quaint... businesses; or a build-your-own Hetzer race track kit. That'd be awesome.

Reference your thoughts on merchandise. We understand you’re not wanting to franchise the BPL, it’s a slippery slope. At the same time as your Patreon supporters we want to contribute more because we care and love the work. I think you put it best: you don’t shill but you do have bills. Just a thought, maybe a raffle fundraiser or auction of some kind once or twice a year as a special event type thing. Winner gets something unique and special i.e. a spoken cameo in a TTBT, personalized Tex ringtone, signed BPL/TTBT artwork print etc. You aren’t maintaining a store or going franchise, just giving an option to raise a bit more dough for those of us who want to give more and want to have a small but special piece of BPL for ourselves. I know it’s compromise and therefore everyone’s 2nd favorite as you eloquently put it, but it’s just a thought.

So listen, here's the thing. I want BPL merch. I want a Mr Tex pin to put on my gaming bag so when people are like 'wassat' I can tell them. Because I'm too awkward to start conversations on my own. I want a Goat patch I can put on my nerd jacket so when people are like 'wassat' I can tell them. Because I'm too awkward to start conversations on my own. I want a knife fight city poster on my wall so when people you get the idea. Am much have excite for urbs. I'm fortunate enough to game with a bunch of dudes that are pushing 70 and have been in this since the very beginning, so I've played a lot of AD&D, Traveller, GURPS, Gamma World.... so many good times. Keep on groovin', Tex. You guys mean a helluva lot to this community.

Stay classy, Abilene.

Listening to the podcast and it brought up a funny memory of a brawl turned robbery at a Whataburger in Abilene, Texas at 1am. It’s good to know I was a NPC in Goat DM’d Shadowrun game, because there was absolutely no build up to that incident. Suddenly there was fighting, then a guy clearing the counter going for the registers and, several minutes later, people fleeing from the police. It was rather surreal as I sat in the corner watching and munching on fries. Police didn’t even question me.

I didn't know you bought Air BnBs in Poltava. Thank you. That means a lot. Дякую. 🇺🇦🇨🇦

I wouldn't see the merch idea as a "gib money" thing, but more a "I would like a shirt/thing but I either lack the skill, creativity, or time to get one another way." Its hard to compromise on that value though. The "I shall not shill" is an extremely commendable quality.

As someone whose teeth are more ceramic than bone I wish you a speedy resolution to your dental woes Mr. Tex. As for MW5 Clans, the Smoke Jaguar grunt POV at least sounds interesting and isn’t a commonly portrayed perspective outside of Exodus Road and a few other stories.
