Borderlands guns are goofy, but goofy is what I go to Borderlands for.... however. There's one gun that makes me go 'hmmm'. The one you pick-up from beating Sledge, the first serious boss in the first game, it's tagline is 'The Legend Lives'. Given the studio is based in North Texas I keep getting the jingle stuck in my head... "Fort Worth Daaaaaaaallas." "The Legend Lives." "On W-B-A-P."

2024-02-06 12:06:46 +0000 UTCHey Tex! You and the BPL are working hard. Putting out some good stuff! In Battletech news, I found myself taking a Charger (CGR-1A1), and modifying it. The end result is an odd beast. I replaced the engine with a smaller one to free up 30 tons of space, then added TSM, changed the heat sinks to doubles, then I added a Gauss Rifle (3 tons of ammo), 1 Large Pulse Laser, 3 ER Medium Lasers, 3 Jump Jets, and then up armored it with 11.5 tons of Ferro-Fibrous armor. Had to strip out the right hand and lower arm to make everything fit, but the result is an Odd Beast that snipes, and then engages in Laser and Barrel Fist brawling when enemies close in, and can also navigate difficult terrain, and attempt death from above.
