I hope I am not too late! Tex, Does the Metal Gear series EVER END!!!!! LOL! I was wondering about the Navy ship USS Idaho. I saw a documentary on this and laughed when they told the captain to slow his shooting down, to hit more accurately. How many times in my life did I need to this? That's it! You be you, we'll be us! 2024-02-27 22:25:00 +0000 UTCA question for Mr. Tex: Do you think Macho Man Randy Savage with the god king of Ring bling? If not, who was it, and why?

2024-02-27 04:34:28 +0000 UTCEchoing others before me, please don't apologize for not feeling well, be that mentally, physically, or both. I've fallen down a rabbit hole of seemingly endless darkness a number of times, and though mine have probably not been as deep or persistent, at the very least it's recognizable. I don't know if 'worrying' about you is the right term - after all, I'm not your mom or anything.. (for one, I'm a guy, and only 41) but you've always been very frank and open about your struggles, and even without the parasocial relationship thing looming over it all, I'd like to think that not wanting others to suffer these problems is only human... Even when you don't actually know each other. So yeah - a roundabout way of saying I'm hoping things will be a bit less 'ugh'. Speaking of 'ugh', you convinced me on not getting into gun smithing with that last MRE stream. Not that it's much of a thing here anyway (Holland isn't known for its small arms since the AR-10 thing some 65 years ago), but I'll stick to other hobbies that don't involve my fingers bending the wrong way, thanks. Been enjoying the podcast, and still fearing for the poor whale's future.. Take care, and please don't overwork yourself - boney fingers and all that.

2024-02-25 21:19:01 +0000 UTCHey Tex, For what it is worth, I accept your apology - not that I deserve it mind you, but (for a lack of better words) as a sign of respect to the value put by yourself on this principle - asking forgiveness to your own audience because you have the impression of letting them down. While no one among us can be you and take the burden away, everyone have hard times in this life, and it is okay to have those dark moments at times, when our reserve of inner strength and beliefs in stoicism or something greater isn't enough to push back entirely against the pain, the harness and the sorrow of the world. Just never forget all the accomplishments you have made (both success and failure) as those define who you are. You are a rare breed of person, someone that put a lot of sweat and tears at building a bigger stage, so more people can try to climb on it and join this growing proverbial choir. While I'm the last person with the right to say this; it is okay to take a moment to think, muse over and ponder, instead of reacting to things - even if those things to achieve are positives in nature. Taking a knee's isn't like laying down on the ground. By my own experience, between the two of those, one is just way easier to get back on one's own two feet. I'm sure those who truly cares don't wants you to be tired and burned out for their own sake - even if they give money to your projects. Pacing (or harmony) and balance are always the hardest things to achieve on this earth, especially within oneself. Truly an eternal struggle until the final bell is ringing. On another subject - I have to say this seems to be a very good week for the BattleTech Community: Big-Red huge Warhammer IIC project - one of those rare gems that can pass the test of time. Also the return George Ledoux as Duchan Fisher does bring me a good chuckle - can't wait to see how this will turn out on MW5. Good things are coming and they are worth checking on. Take care good sir
