Small Update + Poll

Hey lads.

It's been a while since I last gave an update and a poll.

I'll start by saying that the chapters made by Banana Peak are almost done, he mentioned that it should be done this weekend, so look forward to that guys!

As for what the poll is about

It's to get your opinions in regarding to a comic/webtoon my friend in university has been working on. And please listen before you all decide to run away😂😂, I think you'll actually really like it, its really, really awesome and unique, drawing elements from stories like: One punch man, One piece, Yu-Gi-Oh, and Kung Fu Panda (like Kung-Fu panda in the sense that the characters are all humanized animals).

I'll explain a bit about the story down below, but before that, just a small explanation about how I'm partially invovled in this.

A long, long while ago, I'm talking many months, maybe even past a year, I had mentioned how I was helping a friend of mine with a comic/webtoon he was making. Of course, university and life happened and the project got stalled for a long time but during all that time, progress was made gradually and my friend even hired really amazing artists in the past six monhts and actually began to have that comic/webtoon that I was somewhat helping with actually be drawn. (the artwork as you can see is amazing, and the comic draws inspiration from one punch man in the sense that it looks very visually pleasing while still having an absolutely stellar storyline)

I say that I somewhat helped because I didn't contribute with much in terms of work except for helping out with a few ideas here and there for an arc or a storyline or a character's name or backstory, etc... while he took the majority of the work in planning.

This story as you can see in the picture, is about Ra from Egyption Mythology, who in this story, isn't actually a God and has a Goj Satoru like personality😂😂 but more kind and thoughtful, and this story deals with how he went about creating egypt, how he became its first pharoah, how he was joined by an african elephant, an arabian camel, an american tortoise, a latina octopus, an indian goat, and a chinese female dragon currently in minituare, how they joined him on this journey.

It's basically the unique take of my friend on the prequel of egyption mythology. but while it can be comedic, it also can be seinen like.

a mix between one punch man and one piece in terms of feel, (though nowehre near as long or unnecessarily detailed, thank God.) with the occasional dark phase in the story.

I might have gotten a bit carried away in the explanation, sorry about that. It's not even my story but its so awesome that I couldn't help but be pasisonate about it. As someone who's read the first chapter, I can tell you guys that its super good! though the begining of the chapter can be better, but the conclusion of the first chapter... masterpiece😎

now here's the thing, my friend basically plans to use the same kind of format or system that I'm using, where he uploads on webtoon, tapas, mangadex, etc... but with unreleased chapters on patreon, and after a certain period of time, basically upload those chapters on the mentioned platforms, its the exact same system as what we have here, except the difference is that we have webtoon/comic chapters rather than fanfiction chapters. each tier is $2.5, which comes with access to chapters in advance (more or less depending on the tier), access to unreleased fanart, drafts, polls, direct communication, etc...

the only thing is, when he first starts out, the process will be somewhat slow in terms of update since he's just starting out, but as he starts making income if it works, he'll naturally get more artists and upload more frequently, so instead of for example... once every 15-20 days, he aims to make it once every 7-10 days.

now I'm basically giving him an early shoutout, and I plan to give a shoutout to him in the future once he uploads the first chapter which should be sometime around mid september I believe.

what we want to know if you guys would be interested in reading the first chapter? (which will be free on webtoon) and assuming you guys like it, if you're willing to support him. it doesn't have to be by subscribing to him, though that helps, but by exposure, something as simple as saying: Jonathan, check out this awesome webtoon man, etc...
