Talking about the Corrupt Route
Added 2023-10-07 11:09:14 +0000 UTCHey, so finally, the game is at a stage where we can discuss the other branch of the story. I just wanted to thank all of you for helping us get here.
To refresh your memory, at the start of the game, when you use the Desire Seeker in Luna and Oliver, you see two choices. One choice initiates the more wholesome route, which is the only one available for now, and the second one marks the beginning of the corrupt route.
Every relationship you have with a main character is divide into stages:
- Stage 1: This is the beginning of your relationship and will change their fate (where we are now).
- Stage 2: This is the start of your new life with your new dynamic with them.
Oliver and Luna's wholesome route is reaching the end of the first stage. Oliver is closer to completion, maybe just needing 2/3 main quests. This won't be the end of his content in the wholesome route; it's just the end of the first stage. After a character's first stage ends, I will start working on their corrupt route before initiating their second stage.
How will the corrupt route work?
- The corrupt route will have some exclusive events unique to this branch. Some events may appear similar but will have different dialogue and scenes, and the outcomes and endings of these events will be different.
These are the ideas that make the most sense to me for now. This will be implemented later in the game, so I'm more concerned about reaching that point.

- there might also be a third stage, but I'm not sure yet. Regarding the next update, things are going well, and I'll probably release a preview soon. Sorry again for the long post, and please stay safe, everyone.
