While it's perfectly reasonable to have crowd control in this situation, I wonder how much color has to do with it... The only wolves we're actively shown being snarled at and held back are ones with non-warm colors, after all. And they're being held back by wolves with /only/ warm colors. Perhaps even if you make it to be a supernova, there's still a sliding scale of worthiness depending on how much green/blue/pink/purple you have on you?
