I applied it to my gallery this month as I was also getting a few donators who'd pledge and leave without paying after they've seen what they wanted to see and its worked like a charm. The only downside is patreon did withhold 2 payouts only for like 3 days at the start of the switch so they could run some security checks but I think now I can withdraw funds whenever I want now so no real biggie.
