i'm very late but i really enjoyed this book, the ending was really quite beautiful. I loved it and didn't expect it. It just felt special, a homage to the outcasts finding community and connection in the most unlikely of places, I am grateful to have read such a beautiful book

2024-12-08 18:20:59 +0000 UTCI read this while sick so it was a bit of a fever dream but in the best way possible. I got so attached to the characters and wanted to protect them at all costs. The last 100 pages made me sob like a baby. I donβt honestly have many more thoughts, it was just so wholesome and precious and thinking back to my middle school experience I can only imagine how helpful this book could be to many middle school students facing similar struggles as the characters in the book.
