Behind the Scenes: Leather Coat

Another page I just inked tonight. Not much white outs on this one, although there's a paste-up in the bottom panel with Kat that's clearly visible in the scan (this would be cleaned up in Photoshop so it's not visible).

I'm happy with how the jacket turned out. After I inked it, I used a white Posca marker to draw in the white lines.

I mostly inked this (and last couple pages) with a black Posca marker. It took a bit of getting used to as it can cause ink splatter if not careful (this is partly why I had to use a lot of white outs), but I've gotten used to it, and there wern't as many splatters on this page. The pen produces good lines and the ink is VERY good, which is why I use it. Word balloons, panel borders, and most of the close-up art in the center panel is inked with Rotring Calligraphy Pen size 1.9mm (with touch ups done with Posca marker).
