Oh gosh this page. I've been wanting to get to this point of the comic for so long. Zewiac is a character I've spent a lot of time drawing despite him not being introduced in the comic until now.

But, here he is! This scene was actually changed quite a bit. The first panel originally featured Zarhe stopping mid-attack because something runs past her. The middle panels are the same, but the last one featured Zewiac standing between Zarhe and Meya, defending Meya with a fierce expression.

I changed that because it was soo cliché. My point is, how many times has there been a guy defending a girl in a situation like this. Making him fall through the bushes made for something a bit more entertaining to draw and come up with. Zewiac is no prince on a white steed, he's more of an anxious ball of fur.

One of the absolutely best things about this page tho, was getting to draw Umbra with that expression.

COMIC TIP!

Sometimes there just isn't a good font for your special-effect-text. Then you better just draw it yourself! ^^
