This page is yet another one who is changed a LOT. Well, the scene is pretty much the same as the previous sketch, but rather, the dialogue, emotions and interactions is changed. And again, we see Zewiac behaving less bravely and more... struggling, to keep himself standing. For example, he doesn’t even dare to look his siblings in their eyes. He does betray them in a way, which he knows, but he feels that his ”mission” is more important at the moment. In actuality, Zewiac is a real ”mommy’s boy”, so cutting his bond like this is a major decision for him and isn’t really what he’d chosen to do. He feels afraid and alone, which is understandable knowing that until now, he’s been relying entirely on his family.
COMIC TIP!
Practice on drawing backgrounds as well as characters. Backgrounds makes a comic rich, without them it becomes really lifeless and boring to look at. It doesn’t matter how detailed and original your characters are if you have no background for them to interact with.
Q&A
QUESTION! > What's the most boring thing to draw in your opinion?Hm... On wolves... definitely the paws. I don’t know why, I just never seem to be happy with them... And the most boring thing of them all... every vehicle. Buildings are pretty boring too, but some can be fun to do. Though, I’ve never enjoyed drawing a vehicle. I don’t tell people not to draw them, I’m not that extreme, I just stay away from it myself as much as possible.
