I’ve been into rock since I was a kid growing up in the 60’s and 70’s. Me and my wife were stationed in back then was West Germany 86-90. We toured all over Europe. We toured numerous WWI & WWII battlefields from Verdun to Normandy. Verdun France was a WWI battlefield that lasted over a year and killed over 1 million soldiers. The waste of mens live is unbelievable. There are areas you still can’t go to unexploited gas and explosive devises. The number of un ID soldiers are in the 100,000’s. Any one going to Europe it’s a must see both Verdun and Normandy.
