Extended Play Lounge POLL for Episode 28
Added 2022-09-10 18:10:20 +0000 UTCOK...the next episode in our Extended Play Lounge series is coming up soon. I'm coming off of Aquarius by Haken (which I very much enjoyed) as a Doug's Choice. So, we're going back to our normal polling.
And, for this poll, I decided to choose several A-List Bands and Albums that have received many votes in the community against each other.
This poll will be active through September 15. Happy Voting!

2022-09-11 14:40:39 +0000 UTCThese selections aren't fair because they're all too good. Quadrophenia is the choice though.

2022-09-11 13:58:02 +0000 UTCWell, Minstrel in the Gallery is an often overlooked album and one of my favorites (and also among Ian's best performances). But Discipline is also a must listen. Plus you have the score for the entire album. But I'm voting for Minstrel in the hopes it will come in second so it will show up again sooner rather than later...

2022-09-11 03:47:57 +0000 UTCQuadrophenia is one of the very finest rock albums ever made. Doug needs to ignore the poll results if any other choice wins.

2022-09-11 02:14:45 +0000 UTCY’all Quadrophenia is the heavyweight here, let’s push it through!
2022-09-11 02:07:51 +0000 UTCIn the minority here, but Minstrel is the last great Tull rock album. Fantastic heavy bombast, gorgeous acoustic pieces, Dee Palmer's masterful strings, engrossing lyrics, and a multi-section suite at the end. This has the best song arc of all the albums here IMHO. Doug, if this album doesn't win the poll, you really owe it to yourself to give it a go some other time.
