Added 2023-01-07 18:54:48 +0000 UTCI'm starting out our 2023 Fan Favorites series by turning to our Master List for songs that have been waiting patiently for me to listen to them. I've assembled 18 songs from a wide variety of bands, styles, and eras.
Vote for your 5 most-preferred choices!
I'll include the top vote-getters in the video later this month. This poll ends on January 11. Happy voting!

2023-01-12 18:39:07 +0000 UTCI like both bands. Haven't seen Anekdoten live yet though. It'll my first time. I've seen Opeth many times.

2023-01-11 06:24:03 +0000 UTCGentle Giant is doing exceedingly well. That album, actually, could be a good extended play. It has a concept, and a story; three boys, three school friends, grow up and take jobs that put them in different socioeconomic classes. They become three adults who live in different worlds and would no longer see eye to eye... yet the fact remains that they used to be friends.

2023-01-09 14:42:24 +0000 UTCAll of GG's first 7 albums deserve EPL, but alas it will be years before he gets to them all.

2023-01-08 19:59:48 +0000 UTCPerhaps unrelated to this but...it would be nice to do a Bowie song on his birthday, January 8

2023-01-07 23:56:28 +0000 UTCAnekdoten likely won't make it but I hope Doug does a reaction to one of their songs. Very good swedish band. And I will be seeing them live in May!

2023-01-07 21:14:09 +0000 UTCI don't mean to sound negative, but I'm surprised to see only new LTE material on here. To me, LTE 3 was not by any means bad, but 1 and 2 are clearly superior. Paradigm Shift, Kindred Spirits, Universal Mind, Acid Rain, Biaxident and Another Dimension are all superior to any of the tracks on their latest release, in my ears, because they're more dynamic/innovative pieces than any of the tracks on LTE 3; I actually find LTE 3 predictable more often than not. But hey, that's me!

2023-01-07 20:25:43 +0000 UTCI do hope you get to do Old and Wise.
