POLL: Fan Favorites - Our Favorite Songs of Summer

I've compiled the top 19 up-voted submissions from our Discord round. These options are displayed according to their vote totals in the first round, with the highest vote-getters at the top. Your task is to vote for up to five that you most want to see in the video.

Appreciate you doing that 🙏❤️ So it was not a song choice issue, it was just an issue of 1) not typing the command .suggest at the beginning of the submission, and 2) the rule that you can only make one Fan Favorites submission per month. Typing the command .suggest engages the recommendations bot that we use in the FF channel over on our Discord. When making a FF submission, the first thing you need to type is .suggest, and then type up the rest of your submission (song title, band/artist, YouTube or Spotify link, and why you’ve chosen that song). If you don’t start your submission by typing .suggest, your submission will not post correctly in the FF channel. No one will be able to vote for it. A correctly formatted Fan Favorites submission should look something like this: .suggest “Cruel Summer” by Bananarama, https://youtu.be/l9ml3nyww80?si=LGirrg4xmUO3kwXx. This song brings back so many fun memories of summers when I was a kid. Dean, I am very sorry for this miscommunication/misunderstanding, and that you were not able to submit your song choice. I hope you will try again for next month’s Fan Favorites. 2024-07-25 22:18:06 +0000 UTCDean, I did DM you on Discord because when you put in the Don Henley tune and the Stapleton's tune, you did not put in the correct format for the bot to pick up your submission to vote. In the FF vote thread there is a sticky post laying out the rules of the FF submission and a section on how to post your submission. It wasn't that your submission was ineligible. Any questionable FF submissions as far as the rules are brought to Doug's attention. The issue you had was the format so the bot can put the submission up for a vote on the discord server. Sorry for the miscommunication.

The rules for this month’s FF theme were loose enough to include songs that make you think of summer or that remind you of activities you’ve done during summer. So your submission should have been allowed.
