Waystation - A Difficult Decision

As those of you who follow the story know, I am currently in the process of writing Volume 5 of The Waystation. I am sorry to say that I will not be releasing any more chapters in that Volume for a while.
The story and its characters are very dear to my heart, but I am afraid to say that it is simply not selling very well. To put it mildly, the release of the first two volumes of the story has not gone well. Initially, I had intended to continue the story anyway but the simple fact is that I don't have the time at the moment to do so.
Writing Nellie and the Nanites, The Waystation, and working on my new title is simply too much to do on a weekly basis. As I am sure you have noticed, this is leading to reduced quality in all of my work. I'm skipping checking things over properly, and I really don't want to do that.
While I am aware that this can all be fixed prior to actual publication, I prefer to make things right the first time and not release lower-quality work to my Patreons.
Volume 5 will be completed in fits and bursts whenever I have the time, so posting could be a little sporadic, but I intend to make it a fitting end to the series. It was the first thing I ever wrote, so it deserves to go out in style.
To those of you who came here specifically for that story, I can only thank you for your support and hope that you enjoyed your time here. As much as I hate making a decision like this, I think it will be the best choice in the long run.
I do hope to release other stories set in the Waystation world in the future, so your favorite characters may well make a surprise return.
