Added 2020-09-22 18:31:00 +0000 UTCThis was challenging as hell! Usually when I need to do one of these Alternate Version Paintings I just have to modify a single character with a simple backdrop. In this case I painted in that Blood-Red hair and figured out that everything around it looked odd AF when I did so... 😓 I was forced to grab at little objects around the scene and make them red too so that shit wouldn't feel so "weird".

If there's any criticism, it's that the direction of her face is sorta struggling to align itself with the hair. I get it that you were attempting to give it an asymmetrical look that covers one side of her face. Not an easy thing to illustrate for any talented artist. Regardless of my critique, I love the hell out this short hair style!
