Best Senators in U.S. history

So this video kind of got out of control. It's almost 20 minutes, but I guess I was just really passionate about these Senators. hee hee

I hope you enjoy. It's the long-awaited sequel to my worst Senators video.

I also hope you're all staying safe and well during the crazy historical times we are living in. One day I will make a video about all this.

Thanks for your continued support!

That's cool to know. I started to think he was an impossible character. Always admired Mr. Smith!

Gael Guerard

I think it was pretty boring for a then 13 year old. LOL! (Except for the Beattles.) Life in general--no internet, Google, cell phones, computers, streaming video!

Gael Guerard

It means that YouTube won't let you make money from ads for that particular video.

Mr. Beat

What a year 1963 was, though. :)

Mr. Beat

I forgot to mention that "Mr. Smith Goes to Washington" was inspired by real-life Montana Senator Burton Wheeler, another great Senator!

Mr. Beat

What's it mean for a video to be (de)monetized?

Larry Gabutts

Will watch the video about the caning. (sp?) Sumner an cool guy. Maybe Ellsworth could warrant his own video? Robert La Follette was quite a character for his time. Cool his wife had a voice--magazine. Definitely ahead of his time. Another one that might make a good video... (Wish we had more "Mr. Smith Goes to Washington" politicians in our country! Enjoyed!

I'll have to watch it again--so much information! Thanks for an informative and entertaining video. Makes history so much more interesting than my 8th grade American history class did--in 1963!

Just an update- I had to re-upload since there was a major typo.

Mr. Beat

I re-uploaded. Thanks again for catching that!

Mr. Beat

Man! I've been wating for this video! Can't wait to see it!

Dinty's Hideaway

Thank you. Yeah I just fixed it and will re-upload here soon.

Mr. Beat

There's a typo! "Freedmen's Bureau" is misspelled as "Freedom's Bureau" at about the 12:55 mark in the section about Charles Sumner. Not sure whether that's an easy fix or not, but figured I'd mention it... Awesome video, though!
