Every U.S. President's Favorite U.S. President

Sure, the favorite president of most presidents was either Abraham Lincoln or George Washington, but there are some legit surprises in here. One crazy thing I thought about after making this video is that there are probably not many presidents in my life time will be the favorite president of future presidents, with the exceptions being probably Ronald Reagan and Barack Obama. It's obviously too early to predict, but this era of presidents is similar to the era of presidents that preceded Lincoln or Teddy Roosevelt- we are in a presidential age of mediocrity and likely overdue for a truly great leader who has the power to unite our country.

Anyway, just a Thursday morning thought. I hope you're all doing well. My generations video (which I have been working on for too long) is coming out next. Thank you for your continued support.

Every U.S. President's Favorite U.S. President

I don't think I have a favorite president but I respect Eisenhower for warning us about the military-industrial complex.

Gael Guerard

Wow! What a lot of research that must have taken! Thanks for another interesting and fun video!

Gael Guerard

My favorites might be James K. Polk or Theodore Roosevelt. Polk because he achieved all of his major promises and Teddy for starting the progressive era.

Harp Man

Me neither!

Mr. Beat

Not surprised who Trumps favorite president is

Erik Hernandez

(I see what you did there.) But anyway, I'd say about six to eight surprised me.

Daniel Kolbin

Indeed it is, I sometimes wonder if America would be different if he was the president today

Derek Ray

It's difficult not to love Teddy Roosevelt.

Mr. Beat

Many economists argue the Smoot-Hawley Tariff Act turned a recession into a major depression. That, in fact, if it was never passed, the Great Depression would not have gotten nearly as bad as it did.

Mr. Beat

Trump made a truth social post about McKinley today, Matt wont agree though The Smoot-Hawley Tariff Act was passed AFTER the Great Depression had already started. If you want to study Tariffs, and how powerful they are, study the administration of President William McKinley. America had so much money they didn’t know what to do with it!

My favorite President of all 46 is Theodore Roosevelt! His two most famous mottos are ones I often stick with. “Do what you can, with what you have, where you are” and “speak softly and carry a big stick.” He was also the first American to win the Nobel Peace Prize back in 1906, thanks to his efforts to broker the end of the Russo-Japanese War. Also him saying, “It takes more than that to kill a bull moose” after he was shot by Giuseppe Zangara and proceeded to give a 90 minute speech is one of the most badass things a president has ever done! Also when I turn 42, I want the same dinner he got!

Derek Ray

Yeah I'd say the difference between Trump and Jackson is that Jackson was more of a true believer and Trump is just a demagogue.

Mr. Beat

Somehow it doesn’t surprise me Trump’s favorite president was Andrew Jackson. He was the OG populist candidate after all. Both men were both profoundly reckless and impulsive whilst in office. About James Monroe, I was going to joke that it has to be George Washington because both are the only candidates to win an election unopposed!
