Interviews with my family for the Generations video (EXCLUSIVE CONTENT)

Also, here's an update. I decided to drop Betterhelp as a sponsor from here on out. In fact, I cut the Betterhelp ad that was originally supposed to be in today's video. It has come to my attention that they are indeed a shady company doing shady things. I'm sorry I have allowed them to be a sponsor in the past. I placed too much trust in other people when researching the full story.

More exclusive content is coming later today. Woot woot!

I appreciate this feedback. I legit have had friends use Betterhelp and benefit from it. And therapy has indeed helped my own family. However, lately I've heard some pretty bad stuff about the company. I'm embarrassed I didn't know about it beforehand.

Mr. Beat

i sincerely appreciate you dropping betterhelp as a sponsor, but at the same time it is really refreshing to see therapy becoming more normalized and talked about :)

Yeah, the Boomers did seem to time it right when they were born. lol But as long as we remember that it's counterproductive to just blame generations for problems, I think it's ok to recognize their luck (well, not in China).

Mr. Beat

Interesting exploration on the generations! I am a millennial (born in 87) and I feel overall our generation was the last generation who bought into the notion you had to go to college to be successful financially in life. It annoys me when some people from older generations want to complain about student loan forgiveness and how they never had that “luxury” and they had to work to pay off their loans. They might have a point if college was as cheap as it was when they went to school and you didn’t have to work 20-life to pay off your loans like you do now in a lot of cases due to crazy tuitions costs + interest on loans. The boomer generation is probably the luckiest generation IMO, came of age when college was cheap + more economic opportunities. Lastly, the one thing that makes me envious and resentful of older generations they had the better environment and didn’t really do as much as they should have to preserve it for future generations.

Oh dang! A missed opportunity for sure. :/

Mr. Beat

I wish I could had interviewed my silent generation grandparents for you. I'm sure they would have agreed.
