I do agree - they're very sweet (so far) but the overall vibe of the show has a lot more grit to it, so it's a bit more relatable at some points to my own HS experiences. I'm excited to see what else happens between Simon and Wilhelm because the actors have really good chemistry and I just want to see how their relationship plays out for the rest of the season.

2024-04-19 16:04:45 +0000 UTCEveryone is warning me that episode 3 might be the one to break me - so I'm going to have my tissues on standby for it (and the rest of the show) because I know my sensitive self cries easily lol and that's so impressive that it's Omar's first acting role! I really like how Netflix casting is finding a lot of unknown talent for some of their originals.

Also good for Wilhelm making the first small but very big move during the movie to touch Simon's hand. In the first episode when you talked about Simon not really being interested in Wilhelm. I was like wait fifteen minutes. They are so cute, not tooth decaying sweet like Charlie and Nick, which I kind of like, i like some edge to a character.

2024-04-14 00:57:08 +0000 UTCEpisode 3 *might* make you cry, but episode 4 most likely will make you cry. Episode 4 has my favourite scene.. It is so beautiful and simply perfect.. I loved your reaction to the first two episodes. Simon was actually Omar's first acting role and he did such a spectacular job portraying Simon.
