Four survivors of the Ghostface murders leave Woodsboro behind for a fresh start in New York City. However, they soon find themselves in a fight for their lives when a new killer embarks on a bloody rampage.

It's Crazy to me that Sam was around during scream 4 meaning she could've easily been roped in or had been a victim in Jill's killing spree if they'd had know she was Billy's daughter then

2024-04-23 23:28:31 +0000 UTCI love the core 4 and hope that we get to see them again soon hopefully for scream 8 if Spyglass sells the rights (praying they do) I'm honestly not at all excited for scream 7 and imo making Sidney the lead again is so dumb when she had an explicit happy ending, the whole point of scream 5 was to pass the torch and now we're just going backwards. I'm probably still gonna check it out tho on a pirated website to still not support them

2024-04-23 23:23:47 +0000 UTCI LOVE scream 4 so much it also gave me my second favorite Ghostface (Jill) but I do understand that it can feel like a filler. They were originally going to continue from scream 4 and make a new story going forward but then that didn't end up happening and then Wes Craven passed away so the franchise was just left alone for 10 years until scream 5. What was planned for the OG scream 5 which was following up scream 4, Jill was actually meant to be the first Ghostface who lived and Sidney had amnesia but a new ghostface starting killing going after Sidney and Jill not knowing what jill even did.

Scream 1996, (I love the first movie of course and have lots of respect for it because it started the franchise, but when rewatching I do have the least amount a fun with this one also when watching I knew the killers would be billy and stu the whole time just based off of it being so obvious so with the other movies i had more fun trying to see who the killer were)
