Changes to 2022 Patreon Membership

Hello all!

First of all, I wanted to thank all  those who've supported me since I started Patreon back in March this year. I never expected to have this much support. As this was my first year, I've been thinking about how I could further show my appreciations for my supporters. Considerable time has passed since I first organized the tier system so with the new year coming up, it's time for a revamp. The changes will take effect starting January 2022!

- Removal of Sangcom Tier

- Addition of Saecom Tier 

- Adjustment of Dalcom and Maecom Tier rewards

- Addition of Loyalty Rewards

Read below for detailed explanation of each change!

1. Removal of Sangcom Tier

Most of the membership changes are focused around simplifying and giving each tier more distinct identity. With that in mind, I decided to remove the current Sangcom Tier ($3) since there are low number of patrons and it does not offer unique value compared to other tiers. Those who are subscribed to the Sangcom Tier can still receive rewards for this tier for the time being but starting January 2022, it will no longer be available to new patrons. I plan to phase out the Sangcom Tier completely in the near future so I recommend switching to a different tier. Which brings us to the next point...

2. Addition of Saecom Tier 

Saecom Tier will be added as the new lowest priced tier, priced at $1. Think of this tier as a tip jar where are there are no particular rewards attached but you can still join if you'd just like to show support. 

3. Adjustment of Dalcom and Maecom Tier rewards

Dalcom and Maecom tiers will be more clearly divided as the SFW and NSFW tiers respectively. Currently polls have been used mainly for Maecom tier reward ideation so they will be moved exclusively to Maecom tier. Dalcom tier patrons will have early access to any SFW WIPS and art while Maecom tier patrons will have Dalcom tier rewards + early access to any NSFW WIPs and art. 

There will be more download options for SFW color illustrations. I plan to make edits for Android, iPad, iPhone, and Desktop options (Note: the download options may vary depending on the original file size dimensions of the work). This is only available to SFW pieces for now but let me know if Maecom tier patrons would like this option for NSFW colored illustrations as well. 

4. Loyalty Rewards

Loyalty Rewards are available to Dalcom and Maecom patrons who consecutively pledge for 6 months. Think of it as a personalized "thank you" sketch to show my appreciation and you're not required to participate. The type of drawing depends on the tier, described below:

- Dalcom Tier: Half body

- Maecom Tier:  Full body

Both rewards will be SFW b&w sketches of 1-2 characters by request. Please consider them as a casual doodles instead of an actual commission since no WIPs will be offered. There are also things I won't be drawing (like gore, real life people, mecha, furries, etc) so please keep them in mind when making your request.

Please input your Patreon username, email, and details of your request in the above form. If you're unsure of your membership duration, message me on Patreon, email me at hchoi715@gmail.com or even shoot a message on my Twitter and I'll look into it for you.

The new 6 month period resets after you submit the form. For example, if you pledged in March and don't submit the form for Loyalty Reward until after Patreon charges you for November (waiting 8 months), you won't be able to claim another Loyalty Reward until May of next year. It will be difficult for me to send individual reminders to each patron so please keep the dates in mind if you're interested in participating.

If there were changes to the pledge amount during the 6 month period, you are eligible for the reward for the lowest tier you were in. For example, if you were a Dalcom patron for 3 months and Maecom patron for 3 months, you'll only receive the Dalcom Loyalty Reward. 

These are the terms but they are subject to change at any time for any reason.
