Thank you so much Gavin! Really appreciate it!

That Chapter

Yeah, one of the things I most appreciate in Mike's That Chapter content is he maintains focus on the victims and the ways in which the perpetrators' actions impact so many people around them.

Kris99

Hey man! I've been following since before your channel blew up, so just wanted to show my support! So glad that you've got some recognition and now making more videos! Love your work!

Gav Rymill

Love how you ended it. Pulls focus to the victims. Nicely done.

Hi y'all. This case hits particularly close to home. My cousin is a CSI for the San Bernardino County Sheriffs Department, and her husband is a sheriff deputy for the same dept. We all live approximately 30-40 minutes from the Angeles National forest (where this all went down). More than that, however, my cousin and her husband are extremely close friends with Coillins (one of the officers who was gravely injured by that piece of shite Dorner. As usual, thanks Mike for putting together another great piece of work. The main reason I mention Collins is because at the time he was shot his wife had just recently learned she was pregnant with their first. I guess I just wanted to say that even though these are really interesting stories, they involve, kind, selfless, hard-working "victims" that these fuck-heads leave behind in their wreckage with nary a card. Again Mike...job well done!

I think that's why so many people started to support him, he looked like such a nice guy. Not at all like a killer

Thanks Mell!

Excellent how at the end of the video the marriage proposal was shown. To put things in the right context for idiots out there that see people like this as people that fight the system. And i have seen more video`s on this case but with Mike you there always are images and footage i did not see on the others. Hard worker this Mike fellow.

I think that was the trigger, but his actions would have been inevitable. Something else from another job, or another person would have caused him to take the same actions. With his arrogance as a rookie, not wanting to take advice from his training officer - he was doomed and would never be hired as a police officer anywhere again when this got out - he should never have been a police officer. I've seen people who have that attitude and it is usually a rude wake up call in the form of something horrible happening because of their arrogance and negligence that follows that makes them either quit, or grow up and become the police officers they should be, but Dorner was never going to do either. Any job he had would have resulted in the same fate I fear.

I'm surprised Dorner passed the psych exam to get hired by the LAPD. Perhaps their standards or testing isn't what it should be. So much pain inflicted by one person who clearly needed help with his anger and persecution issues before he got anywhere near being a police officer. I think if it hadn't been the LAPD, it would have been another employer, or perhaps the military reserves he served in that would have ended up being his target. When that many women report you on a database warning other women to stay away, you know something is wrong. This one hits home for me as every day I say "be safe" to my husband as he heads out to his job as a road supervisor/police sergeant. We never know what it going to happen that day. Counting down the days until he retires on April 30th. Great video Mike, thanks as usual! Hope your vacation was great!

Thank you for that mike! 🎁🎄MERRY CHRISTMAS TO YOU AND YOUR FAMILY!! 🎄🎁

I remember this very well. He went nuts; all because his union in Los Angeles wouldn't back him up.

Jaryd Hochberger

Yes- I agree with your take on this. Anyone who could start piping up in support of that psycho needs to remember that lovely young couple with their whole lives ahead of them. Plus, it’s fairly obvious that he was lying about his training officer- you don’t wait a fortnight to report something like that- manipulative little shit. I’d have sacked him too.

Lorna Mangan

Typed my comment, whizzed up to top of page, and had to return to say,”Look at him, he’s got such a lovely smile”. He looks so open and engaging, just a nice young man I’d be totally pleased to meet if my son brought him home

Thank you Mike. After the horror that was the Hazell case, it seemed, this was something that, although I’m sure you did your usual in depth research, followed a linear path that was well-lit, instead of tripping our way down a dark and overgrown path of depravity. This happened, that happened, bad guy thought this, etc. We might not agree with Dorner, or think he acted reasonably, but at least it’s a tale we have heard so often, it’s almost predictable. So this case was a sterling choice after that sad horror. Yet again, well done! And many thanks.

Bilinda Morley

I had never heard of this case....thanks Mike! Yep 'Can't corner the Dorner' made me laugh too!! Friggin knob! Love your work as always Mike! Many thanks & much appreciation 😊💕

The couple he killed that just got engaged eh with the way you edited it at the end really eh was a tear jerker. I got choked up. As for the L.A.P.D. there has always been racial tension within that police force but of course he went about handling this the wrong way. Why did he not just move and join another police force? Also honestly with many people knowing he had his issues it should have been easier to get this man the mental health help he needed. People btw think Canada is a great place for healthcare and I can tell you in regards to mental health help they have destroyed some important things that were in place that would have possibly helped a man like this if he were in this country. Anyway eh I don't want to spend more time talking about this as well it was just horrible.

Sean DeMarco

"They discriminated against me cause I'm a black man." Had nothing to do with him being an incompetent person who shot himself in the hand. Great video Mike.

Michael Green

Honestly that made me laugh haha
