The Case of Jessica Boynton

The latest! This case is a little different from what we usually talk about, fascinating story though. Thank you!

Mike, would you look into Gabriel Fernandez in LA? It's pretty unique

Helga Bluestone

The one quibble I'd have with this video is the title – – there's nothing "strange" about this case imo. It's pretty plainly evident what happened, and there isn't a ton of disagreement about that from what I can tell. It's certainly sad and maddening that an abusive POS cop got away with intimate partner violence and attempted murder because of who his grandfather is (and honestly, just by being a cop), but sadly it's not strange. As a sidenote – – framing a suicide is such a multi-layered despicable crime.

These redneck accents just grate on my ears like fingernails on a chalk board. I have known and know so many ignorant people that give off this vibe. I REALLY hate small town cops and this case shows why. I hope justice prevails in the end.

dougie

How lovely was the photo of Jessica and her boys at the end of the video. Thanks for sharing that one Mike.

Shirlene Reid

If this were a movie, we’d all say how unbelievable the plot is. Jessica needs to find a really good lawyer NOT from that area and sue the hell out of everyone who touched this case. Maybe that would still up some criminal interest at the state level. But now that Grandpa has shredded the evidence...

Susan Miller

I agree, best video about this case to date. None of the others mentioned his phone, shirt, or the GBI "suicide" ruling.

Jess Is Blessed

Thanks for the great video!!

Jess Is Blessed

Lol both shirts. When I first came across his channel I thought to myself, "does this guy ever change his shirt?" Lol now I see it's part of the charm...

Jess Is Blessed

when it comes to my child, wild horses couldn’t drag me away

Etak Doow

What a pos!! Let’s say he didn’t do it (he did) who tf hears gun shots in a home w THEIR KIDS inside and doesn’t run in? Even if they’re NOT his kids they are children & he’s a police officer (not that I expect much from them here in the US) his gut instinct should and would have been to run in- he called 911 to check on them but didn’t check on them when he got there...how’s 0 blood spatter occur in a suicide room? Someone needs to contact FBI

Etak Doow

This one was kinda happy tho because Jessica made a full recovery. And because Mike wore BOTH shirts at once.

Jennifer Emmett

Yes, I love the music too.

ScaryPoppins

no i mean at 15:40, the GBI literally ruled her DEATH as a suicide. she’s not dead

Cassiel Winchester

Hi Pickle, I'm Australian too. I think it's "attempted suicide", not suicide.... That's an attempt on one's own life. Otherwise it's attempted murder/manslaughter and so on.

Lauren Mac as 'Vegemite Sandwich'

Thank God people continue to use mobile phones/text on other people's behalf, create 'elaborate' cover-stories, and general "I'm smarter than everyone" bullshit... That's how they get caught. He also knew she was shot WITHOUT going inside... 8:52 "Where did she shoot herself at?" Dude, she was LOCKED in a cupboard: How did you know she was dead? Or how she died? Then he left a young boy (awake) and a screaming baby IN THE HOUSE whilst waiting for fellow officers. Scumbag.

Lauren Mac as 'Vegemite Sandwich'

Thanks Mike

Okay I’m Canadian and maybe they do things differently in Bible Belt America but it seems like there is a pattern of a lot of bad things happening with couples who married very young. Also the music you use is so good. I haven’t found a channel yet that can set the tone with the opening and closing music. You’re good at what you do, my dude.

Lisa

thats what the problem is with elected law enforcement officials and some states allowing officers to quit and start working elsewhere with no record recorded

Steven Cox

I wonder if Mike's perception of humanity has changed after sifting through all these stories. I just have to remember that there is so much good in this world even with that bad.

Leah Marie

What a woman! Get's shot by her arsehole husband, everyone thinks she's crazy and has tried to commit suicide, she has her children taken from her and they go to live with the very man who did all of this to her - and she comes out the other end to be a mother and all round super hero in my book! I'd like to know if there's a way to help her get this case heard again... although, with no memory, it would be a tough situation to take to court.

Pickle Powell

It's ruled as a suicide because there was an obvious attempt on her life, whether it was made by herself or someone else, an attempt on her life was made and so a ruling must be made. I'm still in shock that he got away with this! I'm shocked that the coroner didn't appeal the ruling or some such thing, here in Australia that's the way it would work.

Pickle Powell

That's was Nuts!!! Bad cops should go to prison and never be law enforcement officers again!!!! I'm glad she has her children back!!!! Ty for this crazy video sweetie 👍🏾🙂 stay safe

Minister Elana C Henderson

There is nothing more slimy and despicable than a crooked lying cop.

Kathy Penton

I was cringing when he was fake crying at the apartment...hope we come back to this case someday and see this lad put away for attempted murder, great video again Mike 👌

Michael Kerr

so is she like. legally dead????? 🤔 georgia bureau of investigation we want answers

Cassiel Winchester

i find it especially bizarre that her “death” was ruled a suicide considering she literally didn’t die

Cassiel Winchester

Poor Jessica, happy she got her kids back

Amber

I hope Karma catches up with that Matthew guy.

Lisa Henkel

Cops killing their wives has become a cliche. Frankly, I would never date anyone who carries a gun around all the time, but seriously don’t these assholes have to pass psyche exams? Maybe they should have to be in ongoing therapy to be a cop. Seems like a reasonable idea given the weird status they have in our society and the trauma they see/experience constantly. I was really happy that this episode ended with our victim not only recovering, but recovering her children as well...now, where is Justice? (Aggravated assault/attempted murder has a statute of limitations...) And wouldn’t you LOVE to know what was in those industrial sized garbage bags??!?!?!

Rebecca S Kent

This matthew guy is a dum dum.

Mister Dumpass
