The Disturbing Case of Magdalena Zuk

Hey folks, this isn't tomorrow's video, this will probably go up next week. Tomorrow's video is the disappearance of Amy Lynn Bradley. I just about had that done but amn't happy with it so I'm gonna keep working on it, which is why I won't have it up here before hand, I'm really sorry about that.

The Disturbing Case of Magdalena Zuk

Comments

This is from Reddit: Mahmoud enters the scene only on the third day of Magdalena stay and he was called by the hotel staff, because they knew he speaks Polish. And another thing I forgot to say: she went to the roof of the hotel, not once, but twice.

I've just watched another video on this case, by a Polish guy (he does it in English) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KZy8M-j4i6E ; it's not very recent, but it's from 2021, so... Although I don't trust him much - he tends to the conspiracy theory of human trafficking -, here are some things he add to what you say on your video, Mike. Here goes: the hotel says she checked in "between 2.45 am and 3.30 am". Weird... they don't know exactly when she checked in? What is this, the 19th century? Don't they check guests in on a computer? Another one: on the evening of the 27th, her phone was tracked 30Km into the sea (I'm guessing the Red Sea); the Egyptian police said it was a glitch, Polish guy doesn't agree. About the phone call to Marcus: he (Marcus) edited it and it went public "by accident" (Marcus himself stated this); Mahmoud speaks to Marcus in Polish; Mahmoud, Marcus and Maciej, the friend he was going to send to Egypt to bring Magdalena home (and problably who was taping that video - and why tape it? Weird again), were Facebook friends. Again, I think one must take this video (from Polish guy) with a grain of salt. I think is biased - for example, he doesn't mention ANY of the two autopsies, and keeps saying that she probably was drugged. He (or someone on a comment) also said Marcus had a former girlfriend who also commited suicide, this to make the point of Marcus' sketchyness... And he also relates this case to another one in Poland, where Catarina Kaczorowska, who was a model that lived in the same city as M. and, says he, they moved around the same circles - and Catarina also commited suicide. He argues both cases are human trafficking cases, probably by the same people; and because the Polish prosecution says they didn't knew each other... of course the prosecution is also into the trafficking "ring"! https://www.youtube.com/@louzi1131 posted on Polish guy's video a translation of the arabic part of the videocall, which I found useful. I apologize for my post being so long, but I just want to say one more thing (my own thoughts, this time): on the video of Magdalena being taken back in the hospital after she fell from the window, she simply doesn't look like she's badly injured, or at least passed out. She has her legs folded up and her arms in the air, almost like she was going to put them behind her head... Very weird!

Came back to this one. I have a friend traveling to Egypt by herself this year and I showed her this story, just as a reminder to be careful. I do believe she killed herself, but you never know.

Thanks Mark! I think so too, there's one part when she's surrounded by hospital staff and she lunges for the window. Crazy tale though

Holy shit! Definitely some oddities to this incident, but I don't think anything particularly nefarious happened. When you watch the people in the hospital video, they look like they really want to help but are exasperated by the situation. Even the people filming her in the hotel seemed to want to help, like saying, "Hey, this woman is in bad shape and someone needs to help her." It is unfortunate that they decided to put her in a room with a window, though. Great reporting, as usual, Mike.

There is this idea out there that some believe beautiful people just can't be sad and commit suicide. I seen it said on the internet including locally. Well sorry but beautiful people are real people too. As for not having any mental illness noted before this episode she had maybe people that turned a blind eye to it or were there for her in ways they are not sharing that kept her from seeking the help she truly needed and finally when on her own away from her safe circle of friends and family she lost it. As for what was said in the phone conversations I had trouble reading that. Next time use a white background with black lettering or something similar. I am going to have to watch the video again because of this. Now btw if she truly did not have any mental illness before going on vacation it is crazy to see someone just snap. Oh and as for the boyfriend and him sending a friend to help her out and well at first I could not believe he did not go but then I found out due to him having trouble with his passport he could not get a visa so that clears him of being a jerk .. for now. Finally I think the hospital did things to help her but to have her in a room where she is actually able to jump out a window while being in the mental condition she was in seems ridiculous. Anyway let me say the more you learn about this case, whether the facts are true or not, the more you don't know if they ever will get to the truth.
