There are so many reasons people join cults. Love bombing is only one. These people feel the need to join with others who help them to feel "loved." Think about gangs. I mean we might wonder why young men of color might disproportionately join gangs. The reason is so obvious, they "want" a family, others who "understand" and care for them. It seems pretty obvious eh?!
