Looking back at 2019 - Thank you!

I know we're a bit into 2020 at this point, but I was looking back over music projects from 2019 and was really grateful for your support in helping me grow my channel and create some new music.

2019 in review:

-55 youtube videos with 23 tutorials/lessons that I hope helped others

-six digital album releases made up of three ballet classes, one lullaby album, one solo piano collection of improvisations for dance, and especially because of support from Patrons, one collection of 14 tracks of my Radiohead arrangements!

-23 tracks of original music composed for a soundtrack to an upcoming documentary that should be screening SXSW 2020 (as well as other film festivals)

-Original music created for dance: "Conversations with Myself"

I'm excited about 2020 already. At the end of February I'll be performing some of my original works live including my Radiohead Exit Music: For a Film arrangement for a collaborative dance performance. If I can record video I'll be sure to share that on the channel.

Really trying to get through the pages of requests everyone has sent me. In addition to Patreon requests at the top of my list, I'm focusing on some Elliott Smith pieces as well as Nick Drake. I'll try to keep making tutorials for my arrangements to help others out as well!  I'm also working on securing sheet music and rights for a lot of the Radiohead/Elliott Smith/Nick Drake/Sufjan improvisations that I've done. I'd love to be able to get more of that music onto Spotify etc but it's an involved and expensive project. Stay tuned!

I know my channel is very small and only has a few thousand views here and there, which is why your support means even more to me. Thanks for hanging out with me during 2019 and I look forward to creating and sharing more new music in 2020.

Take care,

-joshua

I spent a good chunk of my day at work trying to think of a song to request and settled on one that I thought you might enjoy... but it turns out you already made a tutorial for New York by St. Vincent. I'm off to try that one on for size, and I just wanted to say thank you for granting my request seventeen months in advance. I knew you were a pianist but I was unaware that you were also a warlock.
