The Case of Jill Halliburton-Su

Comments

I'm torn on this one. The evidence is hard to explain, but my gut is telling me he doesn't seem like he'd have committed such a heinous crime.

AJ

I agree with you.

heather

I’m not convinced it was him.

heather

There are exclusive videos here: https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLD5aIDn0Hllt9rsjx285WX2h8zHCb5Zid , he has a Patreon discord, we get all videos at least a day or two early, and when he travels we always get a lot more content than the regular YT family. For $2, it’s a steal.

Rachel R

Question? What’s the difference of TC on YouTube vs what we’re paying for here? Only because I noticed the content is the same on both. I’m paying for the same stories that are free on YouTube? Am I missing something?

Tia Pringle

I’m not convinced he did it. There has to be more to the story the son is not saying!

Felicia Conner

Thanks Mike. So many questions with this one .Was leaning towards the son originally .but the way the dad immediately threw him under the bus instantly pointing the finger at him changed my opinion to the dad .....maybe ??? Lol !!

Eileen Fothergill

Hey Mike, I just wanted to say I love your videos and have you ever looked into Marcus Wesson of Fresno Ca? You'll be interested in that crazy guy. Also there's Darrell Brooks, I'd like to see that too. Anyways keep up the good work.

Mustache

Thanks Mikeypoo

Miles Melo

I have to think they would have viewed any and all video of the son's car when it left and when it came back. So many questions and I'm surprised that they convicted on such little evidence.

camprman

Thanks Mike

Jane Pohl

A like from Mike is a badge of honour. Criminal comedy? That's one way to put it I guess. Mike is always finding the humorous side regardless of the brutality. That's why he's my favourite true crime sleuth.

Paige Turner

Of course you're eligible or you wouldn't be here. I just thought it weird

Paige Turner

Ex Wollongongite, now a country girl here! I've just started watching and can tell this one is gonna do my head in.

Paige Turner

But it did get a like from the goat of criminal comedy. So I did something right😂

John Saiani

Funny thing is I am eligible. I don’t know where he gets his research from. But it’s clearly wrong. I think he’s just trolling just like I was with the “first” comment

John Saiani

LMAO!

Paige Turner

You actually check to see if people are eligible to comment? Please, get a life Ginger. SMH

Paige Turner

I, too, think the wrong young man is behind bars. The father saw a “white guy” with a mask on roaming around the house. I think the son transferred the DNA or the lab screwed it up. This makes me very sad to know this young man is behind bars.

Edie Anderson

excellent job Mike

Richard Dominick

Merci Mike!

Irene Veronica

I got the feeling that the wrong person is serving time . Agree with other comments that the detectives were probably to blame for this misscarriage . i did feel emotions when i like at this young man in shackles that mean my heart does not believe he's the murderer. also the escape to find evidence was so bold and I'm sure he knew he was a targeted man and he had to try . thanks Mike as always ' take Care of you because i love ya too!

Elfreda Walpole

DID NOT DO IT. THE SON DID

VINCE

Those lard ass cops shouldn’t be on the job. I don’t know if the son did it, but that interview was coercive and abusive.

Shmuel Aharon

How do you find the time to create so much content on so many platforms?! You’re a rockstar Mike! 🌙✨

Johanna Kemp

I wonder who did it !!!

Kerrin-gai Hofstrand-easom

God that was good. Thanks Mike. I’ve seen the interrogation of the son before…. Very interesting. So many unanswered question. You the best!

Lucy Matthews

I wonder if the Detective went into another line of work like he said he was going to do if he was proven wrong about it being the son.

Capt. Rick Allen

Amazing as always, Thank you 😊

Frida Westberg

There's a simple but obvious contradiction that the police should have cleared: the father says that he saw a WHITE, SKINNY kid. Deante is neither white, nor skinny, he's actually well built. The police should have take one of two paths: either they believed Mr. Su, and leaved poor Deante in peace, or they were sure it was Deante, and they should have interrogate the husband about his lie. All and all, it was incompetent, lazy work - first they try to bully Justin into a confession (11 HOURS!!!), and as that didn't succeed, charged on Deante, against whom they had only ONE piece of evidence (or presumed evidence). And I don't care it's DNA - I believe in science, but I also know that there are many ways to forge results or, if not intentionally, mess them up with sloppy work. And now, as always, thanks, Mike. Stay safe and happy. Love ya!

Paula Bernardes-Silva

Not so obvious to me that he did it. Maybe he did I would like the dna to be sent to another lab. Convient (sic) that they already had his dna. Also why didn't the husband call 911 straight away? Even when he sent his son to check he should have called. There are a lot of questions.

Lani Fitzgerald

Bwahahaha. He's obviously guilty. Come on, bro.

David

at 13:50 , when the detective asks the dad who else would know about the cameras, he’s sooooo quick to say “my son”, as if he was waiting for that question. and even after that, the detective almost addresses it when he asks, “there’s not anyone else that comes by?” (paraphrasing). and then the dad doesn’t even answer verbally, he shakes his head while looking at the floor. even worse, THE DETECTIVE DOESNT ADDRESS IT! he lets him get away with acting suspicious af by changing the subject to the valuables in the house—an easy, yes or no question about immaterial material things. all because this detective is monomaniacal—he interrogated the kid for 11 hours when there was video proof of him leaving the school. the only evidence at all that put him at the crime scene was him dialing 911, and his dad seeing the “skinny white kid in a mask” on the camera system with a subscription that was coincidentally lapsed 2 days before his wife is murdered. and when the kid was cleared, they fixated on a black kid that coincidentally had dna on the 2 items that would be used in the murder, but no where else—dna processed by a crooked or at least incompetent lab, coincidentally. after seeing how these detective interrogate someone, absolutely lacking all finesse, stumbling forward with nothing but intimidation and force, i’m not surprised that their lab is crooked. imagine how many times they’ve conspired with, or coerced and intimidated that lab into nudging evidence for a conviction. thanks for covering this case so well, Mike. you showed no bias towards who you thought it was and organized the story nicely. have a good weekend, bro!

Trey Orion

right! it’s so weird that he lied about the camera. and that he called his son to go home from school to check the house or whatever. i feel like he’s the one that verifiably lied to the police, and he’s the one with motive. i think i’m gonna watch it again to make sure. but after the interrogation of the son, i was 100% sure it was going to be the husband. i know mike made a good point about him being good on cash from his invention, but having money has never stopped anyone from wanting more of it. 😂

Trey Orion

I was expecting it to have been the dad actually. If not himself then having paid someone else. Dayonte doesn’t make any sense.

Fiona McGarry

This feels very much like a riddle. Gonna be mulling the factors over for a while. 🤔

Owa May

I still think the son did it when he came home. I think Deante got caught by mom freaked and ran dropped the knife that had his dna on it. Son gets home and knowing someone had been in the house once he saw the knife at the door he got another knife and used that to kill his mom, knowing they would take dna from that knife on the front porch and it would be someone else’s. Which would pretty much make it look like the burglar (deante) was the killer. Mom never called cops because son got home right as she was about to call 911. That would be why she possibly did not make the call. This is also why his story is all over the place and why it took him so long to “find” his mom. Sorry for any grammar and spelling issues. I’m on my phone trying to write this on my lunch break that is about to end lol!

Rasten

and did the detective ever find a new career? because he was wrong twice. FTP!

Trey Orion

how the hell was it the black kid who got convicted? WTFFFF… how was it not the Dad?

Trey Orion

This happened right in my backyard and I’ve never even heard of this case?? How is that possible?

Denise Boehm

Yay! Waking up to a new video is the best! 🙌

Amy Young

Mind blowing isn’t it🤯🤯🤷 it’s probably the aliens

John Saiani

I think it was the son.

Wow, I honestly just don't know in this case. Either way it was an awesome one thanks Mike xx

Courtney Tunbridge

Wow very twisted case🤦🏻‍♀️ I don’t think there’s enough evidence to sentence him like that🤷🏻‍♀️ hmmm 🤔 interesting… Thanks Mike as usual great work💜

Ewa
