And it was a really bad act with the quivering voice but no tears no runny red nose and no sad lines on the face. Manipulator.

But you're still going to encounter keyboard men's rights warriors raving about how the system is designed to coddle women and let them off the hook. I think Andrea's case carried the standard bias in regards to adultery: when men do it, it's addressed as a natural, almost inevitable impulse, sort of a grown-up version of "boys will be boys." But female adultery, (especially with mothers) is almost always painted a shade of slut-shaming. I also feel bad for her boss, he's clearly a very troubled/damaged soul.
